"Our room had no air conditioning for the duration of our stay, further complicated by a broken thermostat. We reported the issue to the front desk twice. While an engineer did come up on one occasion, his inspection was brief and he left without fully resolving the problem. No alternative accommodations or remedies were offered at any point, leaving our room at 80 degrees for the entirety of our stay. Aside from one staff member who was genuinely helpful, the front desk team was largely unfriendly and difficult to deal with. Our visit to the hotel lounge and bar added to our frustration. When we requested a table, the hostess made no effort to seat us properly and instead suggested we sit at the bar. This was dismissive and inhospitable — a response entirely unbecoming of a hotel at this level."

"I can’t rate this hotel/apartment highly enough. I actually want to give it 1 star so that no one else stays here and it keeps its prices reasonable. This was my 5th time in New York and this was the best hotel I’ve stayed in. We stayed in a 1 bed apartment and it had everything we needed. The bathroom had everything we needed including soaps and a hair dryer. The kitchen had an oven, microwave, fridge freezer and hob and lots of utensils. It even had a kettle so my mum could do her hot water bottle. The beds were very comfortable, including the sofa bed. Slept like babies. I was travelling with my elderly mother and aunt and the location was perfect. Plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. Right next to Times Square and subway at the end of the road to go all over the city. Would highly recommend but I hope they keep their prices affordable. There was nothing missing from this stay. "

"Rooms are very nice, staff needs to be more aware of room vacancies to avoid overbooking rooms. "

"Room was okay if you use it just to sleep, wash and then out the door. Staff were helpful and left tops got the daily cleaning lady. Bring ear plugs if you don’t want to listen to the air conditioner, outside of the entrance needs a good clean , scaffolding attached to the building as extension work being done. But generally, the hotel is in a ideal location if you want to stroll around Central Park or wonder over to 5th Avenue and Times Square."
