Llangoed Hall
"A lovely hotel in a lovely part of Wales….stunning views and a walk along the Wye from the adjoining field. Breakfasts are fine. Evening meals are sadly not special and do not warrant the prices charged. Also Bed and breakfast price is for continental only…..cooked breakfasts are £10 extra. Small ..."

"Entire place is very tried. Staff were young and joking around a lot. They found it very funny they gave a new customer the key for a room that a customer was already staying in, and they walked in on him changing! The menu sounded great but what arrived was very standard. I’d give it a miss!"

Hedgehogs View - a hobbit hut that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms
"We stayed in ‘Hedgehogs View’ for two nights, the location and view were second to none. The privacy of this specific accommodation was perfect as it’s at the top/back of the other ‘hobbit holes’ , so when using the hot tubs and walking around you’re not visible to anybody else. Romantic quirky cottage in Hay On Wye
"The host were extremely helpful and responsive. The cottage was well located for Hay On Wye, it was also well equipped. The only slight negative is the road noise if you aren't used to it."
