"Excellent recenty refurbished hotelnwith all the facilities you need and high cleanliness. The bar is a beautiful piece of work and well stocked with local beers and spirits along with the regular favourites. The staff were lovely and obviously care about being excellent service providers. Looking forward to returning in the near future."

"Great location, very friendly and helpful owner (Steve), excellent facilities and very comfortable holiday home ….with 7 days of 20+ temperatures and wall to wall sunshine ! …only very slight negative being that the windows could prob do with a better clean given the great views. Steve’s recommendation of the Seven Stars at Aberedw about 2 miles away was also excellent…nothing fancy about the food but very tasty, good portions and a really nice environment in a community owned country pub."

"Lovely cottage but needs a good scrub. Dead flies in the windows and moth damage active to carpet in main bedroom. Dirty pots in the kitchen and broken items and old packet food in cupboards some years out of date. Old towels in bathroom but clean. Bedding clean and beds comfy. Access road difficult in snow but expected this. Tenant in other lodge friendly but seemed to be keeping a close eye on us! Wood burner lovely! We loved this house and location but it needs some TLC and better cleaning which is a shame. It would not put us off returning but price should reflect current state."

"We had an amazing time for Christmas at Meadowcroft. The welcome pack was great. The location was perfect for a quiet getaway! Local shops around 20 minute drive away so you have to plan your week accordingly. We visited local dams and towns. The hot tub was perfect and we saw lots of sheep! Will definitely visit again we had the best time with our little family for a quiet Christmas. Thank you for having us"

"Just spent a lovely weekend in Woodland lodge. From the warm welcome, local recommendations and very informative welcome pack to the small details of little added extras; we had a great stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The lodge was clean and spacious as well as having an amazing view from the hot tub or tables outside. A couple of things to note - the showers are drenched/rainfall showers so if you don’t want your hair wet take a shower cap and a couple of cushions on the settees were needed but they are minor things on the grand scale of how comfortable the lodge was. Highly recommend a stay here if you’re visiting the area or surroundings"
