The pub was very nice., steak was very yummy . Rooms was really basic and give us no bath towels only 2 hand towels very noisy can hear coal trains all night.

Great neat clean and renovated room. Ours had a drainage problem in shower but otherwise great. Recommend the bistro it’s awesome!

Main light in room didn’t work, only had lamp for light. They couldn’t find our room service order and took over an hour from ordering. Room was clean and bed comfy.

The bed was very comfy. The room did not have a TV remote but I was able to find a staff member who had the manager bring one to the room.

Great location in Gladstone, housekeeping could do with a refresher course in some area’s, just a few things to pick about. didn’t get into our room until after 2.30 pm. Would be Happy to book again and stay.

Friendly staff. Room and bathroom was clean however plates, mug and glass in the fridge were dirty. Glass in the fridge was caked with previous drink at the bottom of it.

Our room was rented to someone , my credit card was used to pay for it as I used it to secure the booking ! The staff member did her darndest to sort it out eventually . There was no hot water in the room so unable to have a shower in the middle of winter ! The crockery was dirty . The cereal hadn’t been replaced. As many issues as we had they were sorted quite quickly so top marks to the young lady who sorted the situation. We just laughed it off !

Room size too small for two beds - queen double has one side against wall. Pillows rather small and soft. Beds very comfortable. Need to check numbers of crockery and cutlery items in room. A second chair for a couple would be good but where would it fit with the two beds in the room? Otherwise all was good.
