"We had a lovely time at this holiday home! The location is amazing, right in the heart of the Thuringian Forest, I mean, who wouldn't love waking up to those gorgeous views? The place was super clean and the central heating kept us nice and warm, which was great since we came in the colder months, We enjoyed some hikes nearby and even hit up a few local restaurants in town, just a short drive away, The shared garden was nice too"

Top Gillersdorf Hotel Reviews

Gasthaus Goldener Hirsch

10/10 Excellent

"Enjoyed every bit of the stay. Breakfast was great, restaurant was good, people were excellent"

Hotel Adler

10/10 Excellent

"When I originally booked my stay, comments from previous guests described the decor as old and outdated. I found the opposite. The building is old (German poet Schiller once stayed there), but the room was modern throughout with walk in shower and staff very professional and polite. Breakfast was very good, and the hotel is right on the market square in the heart of the city within easy walking distance of everything. A farmer’s market is in the market square in front of the hotel several times a week as well as a stand with Thuringian bratwurst. A tourist info center by the market square next to city hall (Rathaus) was very helpful. I highly recommend the Adler Hotel in Rudolstadt."

ACHAT Hotel Suhl

8/10 Good

"1. The wash rooms need better cleaning . All taps , handles , flush seat had feel of soap remains , more cleaning required . 2. At Breakfast if an item is finished was not replenished . 3 . Beds of 506 are in poor state , sinking deep . 4 . Pillows in poor state 5. Staff is good and friendly . 6. Location is best located at SUHL"

Werrapark Hotel Heubacher Höhe

8/10 Good

"Clean spacious room, driving up the mountain to get there at night (was also really foggy) was a little precarious. We arrived late evening so the restaurant was no longer open and there is no place close by to get snacks or anything. Had drinks in the bar area which were really good but having a pizza oven or something to heat up or make some appetizers would have really made it better. Staff were very friendly"
