Overall our stay was wonderful and the facility was clean with friendly staff. I would have rated it 5 stars, but we had to switch one of our rooms due to a musty smell. The nee room was great and staff was accommodating.

Great stay before aFerry crossing!

Bit of a challenge to find, entertaining car park, but EXCELLENT. The staff were extremely helpful, room was very spacious and the hotel was immaculate. Close to old part of good cafes and restaurants. Pleasant walking area.

Nice overnight in Gijon

Great modern small hotel. Great location. A/c cannot be adjusted in the room so we had to call front desk to lower it since it was winter but not that cold outside.

A Hidden Gem

NUMA Gijon is a hidden gem. The staff are very friendly, the rooms tastefully decorated and large. The location of the hotel is very convienient, with walking distance to the marina, old town and several beaches. The breakfast is good, although there is a large amount of single-use plastic items - creating a fair sized amount of trash. However, this was the only negative to an otherwise wonderful stay.

Good but with caveats

I really wanted to love this hotel as I was looking forward to our stay so much. But felt that the images used to sell the hotel did not reflect the quality of the fittings (vinyl flooring that has seen better days) or the experience of the room (at least not the one we were given). The room felt quite claustrophobic with the only small window opening into an overlooked service area so we had to keep the blinds closed all the time. I had been attracted by the light and airy rooms that were pictured, even the standard double rooms showed big windows on the site so that was disappointing. You could also not control the aircon temperature from the room and had to ring reception if you got too hot or cold. Our room also lacked a full length mirror. There were positives though too. Location is brilliant, walking distance from the train station, bus station, old town and San Lourenzo beach, with lots of great dinning and drinking options nearby. Breakfast was basic but good quality. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, I would stay again but only in one of the bigger rooms with a "view", the standard double wasn't worth it.

Gijón 15 días muy buena experiencia

Está muy bien, ubicado el hotel, rodeado de bares, restaurantes y cafeterías. Caminando a llegas a la zona de la playa, la zona comercial más importante. Además, el personal muy atento la habitación muy cómoda.

Nous avons découvert un hôtel très agréable, à quelques minutes à pied, du centre-ville ou du port. L’hôtel est très confortable, les chambres très propre et tout le personnel est sympathique.
