Staffs were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Hotel is walking distance to Gifu station and the bus terminal. But I have to say this is the first Dormy Inn that is suboptimal on the cleanliness. Room floor was dusty, shower room is mouldy, room window has webs.

I only need it for one night and arrived in the evening. The room was clean with a shower that had nice pressure. It was quite noisy in the hallway with other guests being loud because it was a holiday weekend when I stayed.

Second stay here. Great hotel, great employees! JR station is ~5-7min walk away, meitetsu station is ~7-10min walk away depending on your walking speed. Good location. Will undoubtly book again in the future when I visit again!

We arrived hotel at 2 pm, for early check in we were charged 2000 yen, in comparison with other same level hotels they charge double the price. We were extremely excited to use the onsen, but the experience was disappointing because the water had high level of chlorine,the fumes and chemicals were irritating to eyes and skin.

This onsen wasn't for me

Its relatively close to Gifu station so that was good. However I chose this hotel specifically for the onsen. I was very disappointing that the water caused almost an allergic reaction to my skin. After just one visit to the onsen my skin became extremely dry and itchy. I thought it was the soap so i took my own soap the next day and sat in the onsen again. It made my skin even worse almost cracking. I didn't use their onsen again after that. Ive gone to many other onsen in Japan because i love the hot water and normally I'm fine. I'm not sure why I had such a bad response to this onsen water.

フロント、清掃、食堂の方などスタッフの方の対応はとても親切かつ丁寧でした。 お部屋、大浴場の設備やアメニティも最低限必要なものはひととおり設置されていて不便はありません。 ひとつだけ残念だったのは、お部屋のシャワー室の扉のガラス面にカビのような黒い汚れがありました。 パッキンなどであれば多少は仕方がないかな、と思いますが扉の目立つところでしたので… それ以外は駅や駐車場からのアクセスも含めてとても良かったです！ また利用させていただきます。
