"The host was wonderful to work with and very prompt with correspondence! The home was beautiful and well equipped with everything we could need and more. The location was just perfect to access many beaches as well as the Black Point market. We had a moment where our daughter locked us out of the house and Bill immediately answered our call and helped us to access the emergency key. We have already inquired about staying there again next year!"

"My family and I had a wonderful vacation at East Lyme/Niantic.Home, beds etc, were very comfortable, and everything was immaculate and in working order.We really appreciated that bikes, kayaks, life jackets, beach umbrella and chairs were provided. Only thing missing -- a corkscrew! but I was able to borrow one from a neighbor.All in all, we loved it!"

"Location was rated a 10. Communication with Peter was also great. Although the beach across the street was so close to the house, we preferred walking the small distance to the larger beach that was adjacent to Rocky Beach. Since my stay included having my young grandchildren with me it was convenient for us to take walks on the boardwalk at the state beach without worrying about traffic. House was clean and included all the necessities. I would recommend future renters to bring their own bed linens since you are required the morning of your departure to wash, dry and put away the linens. Great restaurants nearby and many local attractions to visit on non beach days. If your stay includes children you should definitely go to the Niantic Children’s Museum."

"We enjoyed our time and had a lovely stay. Rob was great at communicating with us every step of the way, quick to respond and help out with any questions we had throughout our stay. It was so convenient to have everything we needed provided for us — from kitchen supplies to beach chairs and umbrella. And the backyard grill was definitely a highlight. Highly recommended host and house!"

"Great house for our girls trip. We each had our own bedroom (5), and there were 4 bathrooms, which made getting ready to go out much easier. The beds were very comfortable, and the house and kitchen were roomy and well equipped.Lovely neighborhood. Lots of people running, walking, and biking. Several small beaches within the community. (no lifeguards)The provided "parking tag" allows you to park at the beaches in the community, but a couple of them are walkable. At the end of the week we thought it may have been handy to rent a golf cart. Maybe next time!The driveway had room for 4 vehicles.We also went to Waterford Town Beach-a short drive. (25 during the week).The home is also close to shopping and dining in Niantic, and a short drive to Old Saybrook and Essex. (which we also visited)One thing we would have liked would be black out drapes in the bedrooms.(there are mini blinds) Also, there are no railings on the deck or back stairs. We were sad to leave!"
