"Great place to stay in Detroit. Our first time visiting and location was perfect. We wanted to visit museums and have easy access to downtown. Nice stay in well preserved and maintained historical buildings. Staff was super helpful. More improvements in the works and we look forward to returning."

"We had a great stay! Derrick was a very helpful "concierge" and made sure our check-in was seamless and stay was smooth.It was really fun to see the work that has been put into renovating this great old house. As a result of those efforts, it has a fun and somewhat unique layout. We had 4 adults and 5 kids and it was great.This was definitely a good value for the money!"

"The house is a DREAM house with an amazing host - Butler. It was clean, has wonderful amenities, in a great location, very quiet, and SAFE. We were 10 minutes from downtown Detroit but you would never know it. The neighborhood / street is tree lined, quiet, and beautiful. You have very convenient access to the major highways (10 & 75). The house itself is very cool inside. This is a national landmark and must have been an automotive executive home with all of the details & luxury items. If you have a large group, this home would be a perfect landing spot. We would rent again in a heartbeat if we needed a place like this again in Detroit. Lastly, the host, Butler couldn’t be lovelier. His communication was fantastic and he was very accommodating."

"This was a perfect house for our grown kids and grandkids to get together with us for a fun weekend in Detroit. Close to charter fishing, the Detroit Zoo, and Comerica Park. The neighborhood looks a bit rough but the neighbors were pleasant and we felt safe. The living room and dining room were very spacious and easily accommodated our group of 9. Central air on the main floor and window units in the top 2 levels kept us very comfortable. This house was exceptionally clean and well supplied with keurig cups, paper towel, body wash, and plenty of toilet paper. Comfortable beds and nice linens."

"The hostel is situated in a residential area. Parking is available on a residential street. The check-in process with Travis was easy. Minor issue when showing me to my private room as someone else had the same first name and accidentally showed me to that room first. But was quickly corrected. The room itself was functional. The bed was firm. The shared bathrooms was clean, but showing its age with various broken tiles. I was only staying one night in Detroit and this is definitely an option I would choose again. As I was there so briefly I didn't use any of other amenities, so can't comment on those."
