"Late night check in was a huge help after a delayed arrival. The Eden staff knew of my plans and someone was waiting at the front desk when I arrived around 2 a.m. Not sure if that’s typical, but it made check in effortless after a long travel day. The team was accommodating when I needed to adjust my reservation ahead of time, which I really appreciated. The rooms were private, quiet, and clean. The older boutique charm is a nice change from your typical name brand hotel. One thing to note is that some rooms don’t have standard showers but instead feature large jacuzzi tubs with built in showers. If traveling with someone elderly or needing easier access, it may be worth noting this with the hotel prior to your stay. The pool area was clean and calm, not heavily used during my stay. It was great for both relaxing by the water or getting work done. There was plenty of seating in both sun and shade, with options that offered a bit of privacy. Hotel is located directly across the street from the beach and walking distance to major shops, restaurants, and bars. The attached coffee shop was convenient for someone unfamiliar with the area seeking a local option that's not Starbucks. The space had open seating for guests to use along with a collection of games and books. Staff was friendly and helpful in providing suggestions for dinner and drinks."

"We came to L.A. for a concert at the Greek and Santa Monica for the beach! This location was perfect for the beach visit! Literally a 10 minute walk down to a great beach a bit away from the busy Santa Monica pier area (but still easy to get there if you wanted). Unit is very cozy, beds and bedding really nice quality… cotton sheets, good variety of pillow firmness and softness (thank you!!!), and very airy rooms with large windows. And the shower was wonderful, too! Easy check in and check out, the tiniest bit challenging arriving in the dark, but owners provided good instructions for arrival. Great neighborhood and generally convenient street parking that felt very safe and was close to the house. We definitely hope to come back!"

"The location was fantastic. Beautiful morning walks to Ocean Avenue and an easy stroll to Montana Avenue for shops and restaurants. Loved sitting on the deck in the evening in what felt like our secret garden. Natalie is an excellent host and the "cottage by the sea" could not have been cleaner or more comfortable!"

"The space was great. A short walk to beautiful Palisades Park View and just a little further to the 3rd Street Promenade and Pier. Bed was very comfortable. The only thing I would improve is the ability for people to add their own apps (Like YouTube TV) to the television. The setting was beautiful and the outside space was very nice. Overall our stay was great and our hosts were very accommodating. "
