Beautiful Georgian Bay Waterfront: Amazing Escarpment & Island Views/ EV Charger
Near Wiarton which is known as the Gateway to the Bruce Peninsula. Enjoy the water views whether you love the sun or shade from two large decks. One is out your front door and the other is at water's edge. The home provides space for time together or time alone. Private road access off Grey Rd. 1 (One) provides for quiet enjoyment of the many trees and flowers on the property. Whether you want to read a book, enjoy time with family in the combined great room kitchen area or swim in the crystal clear refreshing waters this location provides many options for summer enjoyment. You can also hike the Bruce Trail, which is 10 minutes away in several directions or walk 3 kms to the Big Bay General Store and Government dock for a swim and ice cream. The night sky on the Bruce Peninsula is considered a dark zone and offers amazing star gazing opportunities or you may want to have a fire down at the Beach. Boat launches are also close at hand at Big Bay (5 minutes) or Wiarton (15 minutes). Golf at Wiarton Bluffs is less than 10 minutes away. There are 3 very good to excellent golf courses within 30 minutes at Cobble Beach, Legacy Ridge or Northern Dunes. Day Trips to Tobermory and the Grotto (90 Kms), Sauble Beach (30 kms), or Southampton (55 kms) are excellent experiences. Owen Sound is 35 kms and Collingwood about 80 Kms. There is lots to enjoy in the Grey-Bruce County regions. Wiarton is a quaint village less than 15 minutes away and offers dinning, groceries, specialty shops and a Tim Hortons. You will want to walk in Bluewater Park and may even try the 10 km walk along the water to the spiral staircase that goes up the Niagara Escarpment. This waterfront retreat is comfortable and relaxing whatever your plans. Water Access - While the views are magnificent, accessing the water requires descending 50 steps from ground level. The shoreline, though stunning is rocky; water shoes are a must. Other things to note Noise: Mind our noise curfew from 10:00 pm. to 9:00 am, in consideration of our long term neighbours - Loud noise outdoors at any time is NOT allowed and we ask that noise indoors is kept to a reasonable volume. Environment: Fireworks are strictly prohibited, Camping: No tenting or camping is permitted on the property

Myself and some friends had a wonderful weekend at Johns cottage. The location is stunning and the cottage itself a wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend!
The property was everything promised and more! The owners went out of their way to make it a pleasant stay with all the personal touches found around the cottage. It was a truly enjoyable time!
This was a perfect getaway for my family and I! Drinking water was provided in the fridge which was really nice. John was very helpful from beginning to end and definitely went above and beyond to be an accommodating host. No complaints or inconveniences at all. We hope to be back soon! Thank you
