Love it!
I really enjoyed the time staying at My Chew Jetty. It felt like home to me. The host and her papa were the reasons for me to go back to Penang soon

Awesome experience. The family is very helpful and nice. Just reduced some stars for cleanliness since we found a dead lizard on a glass during breakfast. Otherwise a unique and great experience.

An unforgettable stay
A very pleasant experience to stay on a boathouse with a very nice and friendly host. A good opportunity to visit nearby clan jetties, too.

Nedlagt hotell
När vi kom fram och till sist hittade platsen så var hotellet nedlagt. Enligt personer som bodde bredvid var det nu en teater istället

Good homestay in special place on jetty. Owners are really helpful! Help u with everything u need know. Really nice terrace to look sea/peoples on jetty.

歴史を感じる水上ホテル
中国人一族の水上集落の民家を宿泊施設に改装。トイレ+シャワー一体で共有、床の上をゲッコーが走り回り、玄関口にタオの神様らしき祭壇がドカンと安置されてビックリ。綺麗好きの女性にはムリかも。 板張りの暗い渡廊下に導かれて、不意に100年を遡る感覚。海風をもろに受ける揺り椅子。英語の通じないおっちゃんものすごくフレンドリー。梨とオレンジを剥いてくれた。

Best part of my travel.
Amazing homestay. Such an exotic, heart-warming and special experience. I loved the family so much. They took care of us all the time making sure if there is anything we need starting from cold water to fresh fruits. We will definatly coming back! 완벽한 시설의 숙소는 아니지만 제티 한가운데 있고 바다위에있는? 테라스 의자에 거의 누워서 일출 일몰을 감상할수있어요. 무엇보다 여긴 가족이운영하는 게스트하우스인데 주로 어르신들이 관리하셔요. 정말 친절하시고 과일도 계속깎아주시구 ㅋㅋ 찬물 계속주시구 테라스가면 하나도안더운데두 선풍기 가져와서 틀어주시구 가세요. 마음따뜻한 경험이었구 중국계 말레이시아 가족의 전형적인 모습을 보실수 있는 아주 좋은 기회에요. 모든 일정을 이곳에서 하시기보다 여기에선 하루나 이틀정도를 추천드려요. 꼭 방문하세요.. 평점 좋은데는 다 이유가 있습니덩 ㅠ

That's a very beautiful and relaxable place. The house hosts are very friendly. They provide everything and every informations you need. The building is built over the sea. You can hear the sound of the waves when sleeping.

私には予想以上に良い場所でした。高級リゾートホテルにはない楽しい気分を感じることができました。

A essayer!
La seule location (à ma connaissance) sur pilotis dans cette endroit historique (habité par la communauté chinoise). Ce n'est pas un hotel mais plutôt une chambre chez l'habitant. L'endroit est vraiment spécial, il est visité par les touristes mais vous vous aurez le privilège de prendre un café le matin face au soleil levant. A essayer. Les chambres sont très propres, tout est mis à disposition, et tout est fait pour vous mettre à l'aise, vous vous sentez comme part de la famille. L'emplacement est plutôt pratique en arrivant par Ferry de Butterworths mais également pour aller à la chasse aux street Arts.

親しみの持てるホテルです
ホテルは水上住宅街（CLAN　JETTIES）にあり、なかなか楽しいホテルですよ。ジョージタウンの観光をした後、ホテルに戻ってベランダにあるロッキングチェアーでくつろいでましたが、観光客である私が水上住宅街を訪れた観光客に住人のように見られて写真撮られているのが、なんかおかしかったですね。 朝焼けの時間と午後のくつろぎをロッキングチェアーでくつろげて、とても優雅な時間に感じられました。 また、昼食もご馳走になりおいしかったです。外では、どうしても脂っこい料理が多いので、さっぱりした地元料理を食べることができてラッキーでした。 ホテルには小さいがゆえの暖かさがあり、スタッフの人とおしゃべりもとっても楽しかったです。設備は整ってはいるものの単に利用するだけのCITY HOTELよりもこういったホテルの方が記憶に残ります。 みなさん、ありがとう（謝謝）！
