Book a Geldern Cottage

"This hotel has lovely big rooms with a great restaurant and swimming pool. Breakfast was delicious. It is set in woodlands with a lake. My only criticism would be older people would fine it difficult to get in the shower as it in within a bath and you have to lift your leg over the bath sides to get in. "

"I have been staying at Mercure from the time of Novotel since couple of decades - They have high regards for me and my relatives - I have always paid during " check out " - I have very nice understanding with Mercure - The place where I live in " Mercure Duisburg " - They are very nice decent persons at Mercure from general staff, reception, restaurant and managerial staff including the bosses. "

"The staff is unreachable via e-mail. They can only be reachable via phone for a small 4h window during midday. While you cant exspect much from shared bathrooms and shared showers, the showers were clogged to an extend that it flooded the hallways. Any kind of food kr beverages (breakfast i.e.) were absent in the entire building.The accomidation of the room was the bare minimum and not much can be exspected from the duisburg train station area. Obviously. If I would have been left with any other choice, I would have booked differently and will certainly never book here again. Beware."
