"The property keeper was a very nice guy, he was personable and welcoming. Thank you
The Hostel was very clean and comfortable, I would definitely stay again"
"I did not get my check in instructions ahead of time and was locked out on the first night. I had to pay 244 euros for a hotel. Neither summer day nor Expedia would refund me. Fraud as they blamed each other. The internet did not work in my room and the person who responded could only say “good luck”. Horrible place to stay. Would not recommend either summer day or Expedia. "
"I really enjoyed the aesthetic of this hotel. The lobby and accompanying coffee area and restaurant very cozy and has a diverse menu. The overall location of the hotel was also convenient to the downtown Reykjavík shops, museums, and restaurants."
"I stayed for a week and will definitely be back! Easy check-in, all the amenities I needed. Grocery right across the street. I had easy access into downtown as well as not having to fight traffic to get out of town to the countryside. Staff were quick to respond to any questions or requests I had. No noise issues and felt very safe. "
"Very nice and clean apartment. We enjoyed the close proximity to many shops and restaurants. Private parking is very convenient.
Will stay there again if we ever go back to Reykjavik. "

"Quite pleased with my stay at the Alda. Very professional and courteous staff . My room had a balcony so I could walk out and enjoy the views and the weather. Enjoyed having enough space to spread my gear out and get organized. Breakfast each morning was delicious and filling. The hotel is in part of the main tourist and shopping area so it is very walkable to most all destinations. Definitely would recommend. "
"Good location and spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Tgey allowed us to check in early.
The bartender wss very nice and friendly but the check in staff seemed to have an attitude."
"Rooms were spacious. The view from the windows were great, although one afternoon there were people on the roof fixing things, so we had to close our shade. The spa was great as far as the hot tub!"
"The room was clean and the hotel was located right at bus stop 12 for all of the day your pick ups. And the breakfast buffet had everything you could want"
A unique glass-domed building that blends the practical aspects of heating the city’s water system within an aesthetically impressive architectural structure.
