The hosts were very communicative and helped with any question or issue we had. The property was very clean and worked well for a group stay for the week. Overall a wonderful stay!
Stayed here for a snowmobile trip. House was very spacious, clean, and amenities for most needs. Our host Joanne was very informative providing everything we needed for check in and check out as well as information on restaurants and activities in the area. Would definitely stay again.
We had a great stay at the Otsego Oasis. The house was exactly as described, very clean, cozy, and comfortable. The host was awesome - very communicative and attentive to any questions or needs that we had. Highly recommend!
The owners were very quick with communication and extremely friendly and helpful with activities in the area. The cabin was nicer than it looked like in the pictures. Everyone that stayed there was very happy with the place and will be booking for out trip next year if it’s available.
Beautiful house with a great kitchen and nice sized rooms. We really loved the property.
We enjoyed our family time of cooking together and playing games. We went to the Otsego County Park just down the road and our children loved the playground and played all day.
We were very pleased with the location to all of our courses we were playing. The communication process was seamless, and timely. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your cabin.
Just what we were looking for our extended family.
The cabin, amenities were as described, with plenty of space and comfortable beds. We were in a great spot for our day trips, Mackinac Island, Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes and Gaylord.
We did not use the lake, since we were more focused on our day trips. Enjoyed our stay and would rent again.
Great for a group or family to stay together for vacation. Better & less expensive than a hotel for multiple families/friends. Quick and accommodating response if there are any questions or concerns.
We (two families) came up for a weekend in Gaylord and surrounding area. This was the perfect home base! We spent the days at Boyne Mountain and Treetops, and also did dinner in Gaylord. The property is private and felt very safe. We loved it! Recommend 100%.
I must say first, very clean and well stocked. It is a beautiful place, very roomy. We enjoyed the firepit, deck, and I loved that it had washer/dryer, dish washer, and two bathrooms! Kids loved the loft area and the giant tv during the rainy day. We had two boats with us and they tied to the dock wonderfully. We felt secure leaving them there. Great place to stay!
This house was perfect for our weekend. My husband and I planned to go golfing in Gaylord for our anniversary. We picked this house to stay at with some of our friends. There were 8 of us, but it accommodates at least 12. We golfed three different beautiful courses (out of the many options) that were only a few minutes away. The house was also equipped for everything else we needed when we weren't golfing: grill, bonfire, lake access and a kitchen table big enough for us all to play cards and games.
Also, working with the property manager was great! They responded to any questions I had, immediately. Very accommodating. I would recommend this house to anyone and plan to book it again in the future!

Not on Lake
The house was very nice clean. However, it lacked the warmth of wall art, towel racks, and the bath light fixture was just bulbs. Home needs updated furniture (all dressers look like grandmas hand me downs. Bedrooms need mirrors. Any water/lake description was very deceptive. This house is off the “main” busy highway and no where near any water. No trails either!!

Says "Private Lake Access" but doesn't say its OFF SIE. Mislead by the pictures
House was nice and very clean. Could not even see the lake from the house, let alond park our boat 3 blocks away where we had no sight of it. No beach area for kids. Just steps into the water at the OFF SITE piece of property. Yes, it gives directions to that area but doesn't say its 3 blocks away and no site of the water from the house. Too shallow to park out boat at the dock or the seawall. Not the vacation we had hoped and planned on for a whole year.
4 moms and 6 kids ranging from 4-14 all stayed at the Otsego Lake Oasis. The location is great. You're close to the freeway and anything you've forgotten but the house is very peaceful and isolated.
The hosts are amazing! A bed frame broke and they came over in less than 20 min to replace it. They are the nicest people. The communication, the recommendation for things to do in the area, and the packing list provided we're really helpful.
The property has unique access to the lake, it's not directly on the property but it's a 2 minute drive. We didn't like to walk because we had smaller kids. The lake access has a dock, swimming area, and a fire pit. It's a nice space.
We made some great memories and would stay here again. If it meets your needs you'll have a great time.
We stayed at this beautiful location for the Fourth of July and it was perfect! We had 3 families all of which had 1 child under 2. The house was perfect! Huge living room and yard for the kiddos to play in. Every family had their own room/space. The host was easily reachable before and during our stay! We had questions about the location of the boat dock when we got there and she answered right away. I had asked if there was a crockpot and the host kindly replied no (which wasn’t a big deal) and then proceeded to let me know a couple days later they would have one available! Easy check in and check out. Great for families! We were able to watch the fireworks/drone show from our boat not too far from the dock. The host had everything you would need, firewood at both fire pit locations and yard games! We will definitely be coming back!
The home was beautiful and the host was very kind and always available for questions. However our group was quite disappointed as the private lake access and photos are very misleading. The house is not directly on Otsego lake - the backyard is woods. The “private lake access” advertised in the listing is actually about a 5 minute walk down the main road and through some side roads. When we got there, what the photos perfectly cut out are the homes that are right there…this space is directly in the backyard of another property. We didn’t know where the property lines cut off, and we didn’t feel comfortable setting up our chairs and games, so we just left. We enjoyed the public access to the lake instead.
Great stay! The house was extremely comfortable and it felt very homey. It was a little warm so I would definitely pack extra fans. The host was very helpful and responsive, would definitely recommend this home of a larger group.
