This cabin is a two bedroom, one bath, with an attached two car garage, nested on three acres of property. It is perfect for a family, couples, or friends for a weekend get away!

The pictures speak for themselves!! This newly remodeled cabin comes new leather furniture, in-house washer/dryer, electric fireplace and 55" TV with Roku capabilities.

Deer-View Cabin has the best location if you are looking for a busy all-season rental with lots of surrounding activities including:
- Pigeon Forest Country State Forest (hiking, mountain biking, hunting, fishing, wildlife viewing and more): 5 miles away or 5 minutes
- Otsego Resort (Golf/Skiing): 7.5 miles or 8 minutes
- Treetops Resort (Golf/Skiing): 7.9 miles or 9 minutes

Excellent Relaxing Cabin Stay

A very cute location and perfect for me and my wife’s honeymoon suite after our wedding. Our dog loved the big yard behind the house and the seclusion of the property.

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was clean, well stocked, quiet and comfortable. Only about 10 minutes from Gaylord, so close and convenient when I needed to grab a couple things I forgot. We will absolutely be back!!

Cute, clean and cozy place. Traveled for work training and was unable to secure a sitter for my older dogs, owner was accommodating letting me bring them. This was my first time using a short term rental. Semi traffic from the road was a bit loud at times with the windows open but with the windows closed and air conditioning on, it wasn’t loud at all (a/c which worked great). When I contacted the host for a couple of questions I had, she answered my call and got back with an answer very quickly. Would stay here again! Thanks for a great experience!

Deer-view was very clean, necessary amenities supplied. Washer and dryer if needed for extended stay. 2 bedrooms. Beautiful inside. Decorated very nicely with a homey feel.

September in Otsego County

We have property in Otsego County, so it was nice to find a place to stay that was close and convenient. I hope to stay there again. I especially enjoyed using the garage and large back yard. The house was clean and well maintained. Thank you!

This home is a little cottage not far from pretty much any direction you want to go. It has lovely updates and the essentials needed to be comfy. Mercedes was very responsive and pleasant. My family truly enjoyed this rental. Absolutely recommend!

Girls weekend

Deer-View was the perfect place for our girls weekend. It was close to Tree Top resort. The house was cozy and darling. It was clean and well kept. Kitchen had all the utensils for cooking plus more. Nice fuzzy towels and cozy beds. Will definitely be back.

Perfect cabin for a getaway

I thoroughly enjoyed this property. Great location just outside of Gaylord. Close to some excellent in Johannesburg, Lewiston, Atlanta as well as Gaylord. Cabin is warm and cozy, nestled in the woods. All of the essentials were provided so just needed to show up. Communication with host was fast and efficient. I definitely would stay here again.

Gaylord stay

Needed a quick place to stay and the owner made it possible in less then 4 hrs. Excellent communication. Access to garage is a added bonus to unload car. Huge back yard surrounded by thick woods on 3 sides, great privacy back there. House is decorated nice, was clean, and had nice new fluffy towels and bedding. .

Great little house with privacy.

We loved staying at this little house. It was clean and it provided some necessities. Beautiful yard and we really appreciated the garage since it rained alot of the weekend. Be aware that this property is on a semi-main (rural) road and you can hear traffic from inside. It was not an issue for us though.

Elk sightings

Came up to the north country to see the beauty of the change in seasons, drive gravel roads, look for elk, golf the great courses, check out the off the beaten path watering holes and just get away from it all. The cabin was OK, thermostat kinda complicated but I made it work. Everything was in order in the kitchen, had a nice homey feel to it when I was there, all the tv stations one could want, had to search hard for the Fox football channel but I succeeded. All in all a good place but the morning traffic is a bit much. Sounded like some of those semi's were coming through the bed room. And was the bed spread. Thank you, Doug

Up North Trip

I was very pleased with this rental home! It was everything i could have hoped for. It was very clean with new apliances . The washer and dryer helped me out alot, and made the packing process easier. The home was beautiful and backyard was too. The garage really was great as well i didnt have to pack and unpack my car in the dark. The climate control was great as well the home stayed a very comfortable temperature in the summer heat. The kitchen was the perfect size and very enjoyable to cook in. The living room area was very comfortable as well. I really enjoyed my time here. This has been my favorite rental home so far. Looking foarward to staying here in the future!! :)

Cute little house!

This house was perfect for us and our 2 kids and dogs. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. After finding out it was on a busy road I was a little nervous, but once we were inside with the air conditioning on we barely noticed traffic noise unless a big semi went by. We hung out in the big backyard and early in the morning and later in the evening the traffic really died down and was not an issue at all. This was a great little place located right in the middle of things. We went to St. Ignace one day, and Torch Lake another. Mercedes was great and very responsive. I LOVED the digital keypad lock for the front door, so much nicer than having to keep track of another key. The attached garage really was nice for unloading and getting the the kids and dogs inside, safe from the weather and the worry of the dogs running into the road. Wish we had this on our actual house. If we come back to this area we would definitely stay again.
