"Agradezco la enorme amabilidad de la recepcionista que me atendió antes de la llegada varias veces en inglés, era complicado por cuándo iban a llegar mi marido y mi hijo, y en todo momento todo fueron facilidades y mucha amabilidad. "Hotel is clean and staff is friendly. It was fine as an overnight stop. The town has a small but nice historic centre. It is however more or less dead. A few restaurants were open but do not look very appealing. Many properties are boarded up. Apparently it used to be bustling but many people left after the reunification."

"The positive: Very helpfull and kind personal. Great breakfast, easy parking. The negative: The place is somewhat used and old and the nearby town is “ghostey”. Overall great value for money! Perfect spot for a nigh-over on your way south/north. "

"We came in super tired and under the weather and the young lady at the front desk treated us so well. Got us tea, lemon, and a kettle! The room was perfect! Beds were so comfy! The room was super quiet! The TV had YouTube rather than cable so we could watch some shows from home! Thank you it was just what we needed! "

"This is a beautiful old hotel property. It has great bones and the rooms have been updated and modernized nicely. That said, there are some very quirky aspects to the property. Firstly, there is no reception - just an automated machine that provides a key card. This means that there is no one to ask about parking, amenities etc. The second thing is that no one speaks English at all. The cleaning staff was very sweet but could not speak a word. We had to use Google Translate for all...
