"Hotel Arena City in Leipzig is very conveniently located, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is not air conditioned, however, and we visited during a late summer heat wave. We had to leave the windows open, and the hotel is on a busy tram line, so it was quite noisy at night."

"The apartment's fine, but the building itself was undergoing renovation in some apartments and the common areas were unfinished. The neighborhood is a bit depressing, with so many derelict buildings, and now shortly after our departure ethnic riots. The owner is in West Germany and refers you to local friends for assistance, but one didn't exist, another was unhelpful not to say rude, and the third offered help only after we insisted that he contact us. The owner also gave us an incorrect code...
