Cabin Fever is a beautiful log home located in Black Bear Falls, Gatlinburg's community. This log home is decorated in rustic log furnishings and original photos from local photographers. Located just a few minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, but in a setting you'll feel like you're miles back in the woods.


Cabin Fever has two covered porches. The full covered back porch allows you privacy whether you are rocking in rocking chairs, or enjoying a dip in the outdoor jacuzzi while viewing the beautiful woods and a clear shot of Mt Leconte. You will love the swing on the porch.

Cabin fever has two bedrooms, each having unique log furniture from out West, and gorgeous log walls. Each suite has king beds, and a jacuzzi tub in a separate bathroom. Giving each guest their privacy while sharing this beautifully decorated cabin. The upstairs bedroom is open to below, as it is a loft bedroom.

The full kitchen allows you to stay in while enjoy cooking and dining, or enjoy cooking out on the charcoal grill. The kitchen is fully furnished. You'll enjoy the beautiful scenery from a top black bear falls. One of the best views in Black bear falls. You'll enjoy sitting out in the wooden rockers on the full size porch year round. Or maybe the outdoor hot tub on the deck is more your taste. Either way, you'll feel very relaxed in this setting. Enjoy a warm fire in the rustic rock fireplace located in your den, surrounded by windows with beautiful woods surrounding you.

Cabin fever is located within two miles of downtown, and is an easy drive to the National park for a hike, wildlife viewing, or a short drive to the grocery, shopping and Dollywood. The community for Cabin Fever also has a pool and clubhouse for rental guests.

Enjoy complimentary WiFi while staying at Cabin Fever, so bring your wireless capable computer. Also we offer free long distance calls. there is a ethernet cable on site too.

Guest have loved this cabin. Our no smoking policy has allowed us to keep the cabin clean and enjoyable for all. And yes we welcome your well behaved, house trained, and flea controlled pets. A small non-refundable pet fee of $50 per pet applies. You will love our new fenced in area for dogs....We love dogs too !! We also supply a dog gate if you choose to use to contain your pet in the house in an area.

Perfect place!

We absolutely love this cabin. So well kept and property manager is friendly and helpful. Location is perfect and so close to all the attractions! The view is incredible. Bonus it’s pet friendly so our entire family was there. We will be back again for sure!

Love this cabin

I've stayed here twice and already booked for a third time for November. The cabin is nicely decorated, and clean. You can tell it is very well maintained. The grounds of the community are well maintained and beautiful. The cabin has probably the best location and view in the community. This will be my go to cabin for my trips to this area!

Everything you could ask for

The cabin was in the perfect location to find the best of Gatlinburg’s trailheads and get downtown quickly for food and entertainment for kids age 5 - 15. We loved the views, and the host thought of everything - down to the bear spray. Thank you for a memorable spring break for my family of five!

Wonderful weekend getaway

We stayed with our two dogs and our daughter for her 18th birthday. Cabin has everything you will need with dogs. Very tastefully decorated and extremely clean. Very close to Gatlinburg and Food City. Highly recommend!!! Amazing set up for dogs - little fenced in yard was amazing!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We had a great time at this beautiful house. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the mountains, and close enough to get ot all the attractions in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, or for gorgeous drive to Cade's Cove to see some bears. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in town.

Perfect get away

Not far from civilization and yet felt so peaceful. Enjoyed relaxing on the back deck a lot. This cabin was the perfect get away. The fenced in area at the front door was a nice way to allow Gabby to venture out with no leash. We would love to stay here again.

It is an amazing cabin!

Beautiful cabin and the location is very convenient! Pet friendly is a great plus also the owner is super friendly and thoughtful! I will recommend it to anyone who wants to go to the Great Smoky Mountains or Gatlinburg.

Family Fall Break

We had a wonderful stay in Gatlinburg. The cabin was very clean and cozy. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and sitting out on the back deck which was perfect for our little dog as well. We highly recommend Cabin Fever and will be staying again.

This cabin was great for my family and being able to have our dogs was fantastic! The fenced in area was so nice. The owner was wonderful though we didn’t need her through our stay, she made it very clear she was there to help if needed!

Easy and relaxing getaway

This cabin is clean, pretty, has excellent jetted tubs in the bathrooms, and a great hot tub outside. We enjoyed our stay and Melanie was very helpful and friendly. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Fantastic family time in the mountains

My family of 5 really enjoyed our stay. It was very peaceful and comfortable. The decor was also very cool. The kids loved the hot tub and location close to all the shops and restaurants. The host was also very responsive. We would love to stay here again.

Wonderful Mountain Getaway

Cabin Fever was a delightful getaway between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. My mom, sister, and our dog visited recently and had a wonderful stay. The views are stunning and the cabin itself is very comfortable and has all the amenities a visitor might want.

Perfect mountain getaway!

Location is excellent - close enough to things but also a slight distance to not be in the hustle and bustle. There is ample parking and a great little fenced yard. The cabin itself is lovely and cozy. You couldn’t ask for anything more! Mel was also so sweet to check in when we arrived to make sure all was well. I couldn’t recommend this cabin more!

Great getaway !!!

Wonderful cabin and great location. Close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge while you can still sit out on the deck and enjoy the peaceful sounds. We have stayed here for years and loved it. We're already planning next year's trip. We truly appreciate the effort the owner takes to make sure we have a great time.

Beautiful setting, centrally located

A beautiful cabin that is located perfectly to give a secluded feeling while still being close to all of the fun that Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge offer. The cabin was tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable! The property owner was also very friendly. I would highly recommend and plan to return!

Cabin fever in Gatlinburg

The cabin was an excellent place to stay! Very clean and very cozy. My small dog that was with me loved this place! She kept exploring the little yard we had and loved being on the back deck with us relaxing. I will say this place was a perfect get away for me and my family. Great view, comfy vibes, and overall a pleasant vacation!
