Welcome to Stairway to Heaven — a truly unique Smoky Mountain retreat,
nestled on a dead end street with no thru traffic & situated less than 800 ft from the National Forest border and abundance of wildlife. Perfectly located just 1 mile from Ober Mountain and 1.4 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and the entrance to the Smoky Mountain National Park.

Stairway to Heaven is a three bedroom log cabin located on Ski Mountain’s highly desirable Chalet Village area. Unlike resort or communities, our cabin is on 1.6 acres offering great privacy, spacious paved parking and a nice flat yard for kids to enjoy.

Tastefully decorated, Stairway to Heaven has all the amenities you desire. There are three distinct, fully furnished king master suites, one on each level with private full bathrooms, as well as Roku smart TV’s in every room. The cabin comfortably sleeps 10 with a queen sleeper sofa in the loft and another queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

The cabin is equipped with all the amenities you’d find at home. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would expect in a normal kitchen, including blender, toaster, slow cooker, various size pots & pans, wine glasses, a Keurig, and a regular coffee pot.

The game room includes a custom pool table, pinball, race game, 60 game arcade, Connect 4 and corn hole game. Unwind in the hot tub or swing on the porch while taking in the natural surroundings from 3 spacious decks. Spend some time outside roasting marshmallows in the fire pit or grilling on the charcoal grill and maybe get glimpse of a bear or more.

This is our personal cabin, so you will receive personal attention, unlike that of Rental/Management companies. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions, we're happy to help you plan as best we can.

Perfect cabin in a great location

This cabin was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The layout of the rooms and spaces is probably the most functional I have ever seen in a cabin. Nice little side yard too.

We love this place!

This beautiful house is just as described. Clean, comfortably furnished and very well stocked with everything we needed. Close to the shops and restaurants of Gatlinburg. We plan to return.

Awesome place

House was great. Enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the wildlife. Kids loved the game room and doing smores at the fire pit. Very relaxing location but close to town. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Couples Getaway

The cabin had everything we needed, including 3 King Suites for our couples escape. Perfect location, close to the heart of Gatlinburg and the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains. We saw lots of wildlife, enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch swing and evening fire pit chats.

Perfect quick getaway

We booked this cabin for a quick getaway and it was perfect!!This was our 4th visit to the area. We hope to return one day. It’s close to town, yet nestled in the trees. Plenty of space inside and outside. The house was very clean, beautifully decorated, and the beds were really comfortable!!! Not one hiccup, we hope to return one day.

We really enjoyed the cabin. We saw bears everyday, which everyone really enjoyed. It was peaceful, it was convenient, not too far away from downtown. Check in and out was easy. I’d stay there again.

The best cabin!

We have stayed in Gatlinburg a ton and this was the BEST cabin we have ever stayed in! It was close to town but still had lots of privacy! I love each room on different floors and the floor space is big enough to put kids on the floor with a twin air mattress! I also loved how each room had its own bathroom! The king beds are all super comfortable! Check in was easy and I can’t wait to come back!

AMAZING

Could not be more pleased and happy with our choice to stay here. We had an amazing experience at the cabin with some locals(Blackbears) visiting us from time to time. The cabin itself is amazing for a family to stay being so close to town yet secluded enough to have privacy. Owners where very helpful with any and all of our questions and needs. Close to town & park but still away from it all!

Our family of 5 enjoyed the cabin! We had a visitor within 5 minutes of unloading our things and got used to seeing bears every day. We found ourselves spoiled and sad on the couple of days we didn’t see any. The cabin was clean and ready for us and getting in was easy. We had plenty of sleeping room for everyone. We would definitely stay here again!

NUMER ONE BEST PLACE!

Everything about this place was spectacular! Plenty of room for our big family. Lots of things to do for children 3 and above in the home. But hands down best part was every bedroom had a king bed. You can never get that anywhere else. We definitely will be returning to the Stairway To Heaven.

Absolute Heaven!

This cabin was absolutely amazing! Plenty of space for all 8 of us. Not once did I hear “I’m bored!” Lots of games and outdoor fun! It was secluded but also close to everything! Not to mention we saw bears every single day we were there! We will definitely book again! Thank you for the best vacation!!

Highly recommend and hope to return

We highly recommend this beautiful cabin. It is spacious, very clean, and a lot of fun for our entire family. The arcades, pinball machine, and pool table helped ensure we had a great time, even when it was raining. We LOVED the occasional bear sighting while sitting in the comfort of the cabin…best cabin ever for that! The location is perfect as well, just a short drive down the winding roads into town. We’re hoping to book again next year. Thank you for a memorable family vacation!!!
