Amazing views

House was beautiful and large enough to accommodate 8 adults. The view is amazing and we watched the sunrise every morning. With a quick walk up the road you can catch the sunset in the evening. The mountain road is long and windy. I would love to give 5 stars but after an 11 hr drive our check in was delayed 2 hrs, and the main bedroom mattress needs to be replaced as there is a large divot in the middle. I also wish there would have been a few hangers in each closet and an arcade game included with the pool table and foos-ball. The media room was great for Monday night football. All in all, it was a great stay and would choose this cabin again.

Amazing Weekend at Misty Mountain Adventure Lodge

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an incredible stay at Misty Mountain Adventure Lodge. The views from the deck were best of the best. It takes a little extra time to get up the mountain on windy roads, but the view is totally worth it. Also just a short drive to downtown Gatlinburg. The cabin had everything you would need (if you drink a lot of coffee you might bring a coffee maker there was only a single serve drip) and fit 14 people comfortably. The check in and check out process was smooth and the office was always available. I would definitely go back!

Amazing view with few minor inconvenience

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros Amazing view beautiful home but cleaning is well below standard. The house had plenty of space for all of our guests. Lots of cooking utensils and pots and pans. View was amazing very quiet area. Drive is steep but very manageable. Cons - Check in was suppose to be at 3pm receive numerous texts throughout the day that cabin was not ready but we were already on the road into our 4hr drive. We arrived at the cabin at 5pm and the cleaning crew had still not arrived. We could see through the windows beds unmade and dirty dishes on the table. We had to go to a restaurant and lost most of our food in the cooler. Finally received a text at 6pm that house was ready. Absolutely no way to clean a house that big in 45 mins.Got to the house dishwasher still running. Beds were not neatly made. Hot tub was never cleaned. There was a huge ring around the tub and black trash immediately bubbled up when we turned the jets on. House was beautiful and great view we even saw a mama bear and cub right in front of the cabin but a new cleaning staff with better time management is definitely needed

Awesome spacious Cabin with Fantastic views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed with 8 people for a weekend and it was fantastic! The view as soon as you open the front door was breathtaking! The cabin was very spacious and I loved that it has a bathroom for each bedroom since we had four couples. The men loved the game room and the women loved the hot tub and deck fireplace. The kitchen had beautiful countertops and cabinets, and a beautiful dining table. Check in and check out was easy, and the owner checked in on us to make sure everything was running smoothly and was very fast to respond back. I hope we get to go again soon! I love Gatlinburg and it is only a short drive away to have the privacy and views but still be close to all the fun stuff downtown!

Family Vacation to Gatlinburg/Smokies

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 13 people on our trip 6 parents and 7 kids ages 18 to 3. Plenty of space for everyone. Decks are great for viewing and relaxing, kitchen was great for preparing food, entertainment room was fantastic for the evening and the hot tub was nice too. This is a very nice cabin. We did see bears very close, fun to watch. The deck view of the Smokies is impressive. All systems worked great in the cabin and communication with Elk Springs was great also. I'm sure the drive up to the cabin is challenging for some, I thought it was kinda fun. Would stay at this cabin again.

Fantastic Cabin & Fantastic Cabin Company!

Our extended family of 12 spent a great week at Misty Mountain Adventure Lodge.The theater room, game room and hot tub provided entertainment and relaxation for all of the adults, teenagers and little kids alike. We have been with another cabin company for years but Elk Springs is now our Go To cabin company. They were so helpful when I was booking, answered all of my many questions ( I need to give Dan a big shout out for this) and were so responsive when we were at the cabin. The day after we checked in, the Elk Springs staff called to check on us and make sure we were comfortable and if we had any questions. I didn't realize it at first but Elk Springs picks up the trash(no more hauling it down the mountain) and even when I forgot to call until late afternoon, they came out within a couple of hours to pick up! Also all of the beds were very comfortable (which was very important to us). I can't say enough good things about the beautiful cabin and the great cabin company.

There was plenty of room for everyone. The location is also great 30 minutes to Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge. Now being a new cabin there’s not to many cons to this cabin. Now that being said there was a couple of things that need to be fixed like the upstairs shower the brick at the bottom to the door isn’t level so water just pores out. They need a new can opener lol I know odd but we went to use it and it was already broke. Those are the only things we had problems with! Everything else was great!

Lovely property

Reviewer Comments: We had a great experience here, there were 11 of us (3 generations with grandparents and younger kids) and there were enough sleeping spaces and 4.5 bathrooms. The first floor is open to the kitchen with 2 full bedrooms with in-room bathrooms. It’s also wheelchair accessible. The road getting up to the property is really windy and can be narrow at times but this is why the view is gorgeous - I worry about road conditions in the winter. The house had quite a few maintenance issues like doors being jammed, but the management company was really easy to work with and someone came out right away to fix things - but we only had major things fixed, there was still an issue with one of the sliding doors to a bathroom that was hard to keep closed and the shower curtain in one of the bathrooms kept falling off. The views are gorgeous and the amenities were great for kids with the movie theater and pool table, hot tub and grill. A family of bears lives in the area. Overall I would recommend it.

The Perfect Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I booked this cabin for my best friend's bachelorette party and it did not disappoint. We were all stunned as we walked in. It's absolutely beautiful. It's so large that it feels neverending and we loved that each room had its own bathroom. When you have 9 girls all getting ready at the same time, that's a big deal. We loved doing yoga on the decks in the morning, hanging in the hot tub at night, and utilizing the full kitchen for all of our meals. The drive up to the cabin is a little scary with lots of hairpin turns and very steep slopes. If you get car sick easily, I'd advise you to take ginger tablets any time you leave the cabin. We picked the perfect weekend to go - first weekend of November. When we arrived, the trees were mostly still green and by the time we left it was a full orange/red masterpiece. That view of the mountain from the living room and decks was absolutely breathtaking. We can't wait to come visit again!

Beautiful view but I expected a better experience with cost

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view and the drive up to the cabin was beautiful. We had so many things go wrong with our five night trip and I was highly disappointed. The evening that we arrived one of the bedroom toilets was stopped up from prior renters and with the first use and we had to call maintenance. We realized none of the fireplaces were turned on for us to be able to use and that wasn’t able to be fixed till the following day. The downstairs bathtub was leaking from the base when used. Both the stand up showers had a good 6 inches of soap scum at the base of the showers. There were gnats the entire time we were there in the kitchen from the first day. The hot tub had a big scum ring around the top on the first time we got in it. The ceiling fan in the downstairs room wasn’t working and needed new batteries from maintenance. The power tripped and went out multiple times in different areas. Or time while my mother in law was in the theater room sleeping in the recliner using her oxygen. The thermostat had it to where you couldn’t set it lower than 70 and there were numerous times where it seemed to go back up on its own. We like to sleep cold so that was very frustrating. There was very minimal cooking supplies and what was there was scratched and needed to be replaced. It tells you after you book that there is starter supplies for you which ended up meaning we had one extra trash bag, two dishwasher tabs and one laundry packet. That was frustrating for a large cabin and five nights we obviously needed more and had to buy. I believe we needed up having to call maintenance out for the toilet, fireplaces, power outages about 8 times during our stay. I can honestly say out of all the vacation homes I’ve ever booked I have never paid this much, prior to this trip never had to call maintenance, never had dirty issues and never had such short supplies in the kitchen and basic cleaning needs. It was truly frustrating to have to deal with these things while on
