Welcome to Idyllic Yurt! Your pet friendly mountain getaway! This 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom yurt is the perfect blend of modern and unique. Enjoy mountain views while sitting on the uncovered deck relaxing in the hot tub! There is also a gas grill & fire pit so you can cook anything from hot dogs to s'mores! Both bedrooms have king beds with smart TV's in the room, and a jetted tub in the primary! Gather around the wood burning fireplace from October-March (wood not provided)! Dogs are welcome, only one allowed! A pet fee of $75 each will be added when your pet is added to your booking! During the summer months, a HOA community pool is available for guests.

Perfect in every way!

10 out of 10, would definitely recommend. Yurt was clean, cozy and comfortable. It was stocked with everything we needed (linens, towels, kitchen needs, etc). Convenient central location. Only about 10 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg and the national park and 15 minutes to Pigeon Forge. Staff was friendly, responsive and attentive. They responded quickly by text message (really convenient). Great views. I would definitely stay here again.

Cute rental. Perfect for our family of 4. Pretty centrally located to all of the stuff to do. The host had snacks laid out, which the kids thought was great! Lots of board games to pick from.

We always come to TN in January to spend Christmas with our TN family. This was the best place we have stayed and will plan on staying here again. Very close to downtown but far enough to enjoy the quite and views. Cabin was clean and comfy!

1st time in Tn. Loved how it wasn't far from gatlinburg and pigeon forge but far enough away to forget the crowd. We enjoyed the hottub and whirlpool tub in the master sweet during our stay.

Smokey mountain cabin

We had a lovely stay in the Yurt. It’s plenty room for a couple with a kid or 2. The house was as advertised, clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was just outside the downtown of Gatlinburg, quiet with a beautiful view of the mountains. We used the trolley system to get into town, parked for free at city hall and rode into the town. Great stay!!

Need work

The property itself wasn't bad at all. But I felt like I was intruding on the owner's personal residence. There was no spaces for unpacking our suitcases, no closet space or drawers that weren't full of the owners stuff. Not even a space to put our suitcases. The cabinet below the kitchen counter was containing rodent poop and not clean. The bathroom walls around the sinks had toothpaste splashed up on it. Also there was no hand soap and only 4 wash cloths. We went ahead and bought extra wash cloths and hand soap and just left it there for future guests. I will be looking for something else next time

False advertisement

The pictures that went along with this cabin were very misrepresented. Very dated cabin. Pet friendly cabin, very dried up under one of the beds. The sheets were very nasty in one of the rooms. The hot tub did not heat properly. The air conditioning did not work properly. And the refrigerator did not work properly. The only this this property has going for it is the agency that represents it. They were very responsive and got someone out to look at the air that night. It did not help, but they tried. They gave us a full refund.

Beautiful view

This is about 12 minutes from the heart of Gatlinburg. The views were amazing. The host was very attentive during our visit. We were not upset with the stay, but things pointed out in previous reviews have not been addressed. The vents throughout the house are in need of assistance. Beds were comfy. The overall temperature of the house was warm (even for us Houstonians), but we did get permission to knock the temp down a few degrees. Having stayed at many places, it ranks in the middle. The point was to have a family vacation in the mountains and we did just that. We recommend Anakeesta for a visit!

Perfect Little Retreat

The location of our yurt was perfect for going to activities in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It was quiet and peaceful. Plus the perk program from Xplorie saved us a bunch of money. I would definitely stay here again.

Great View, Needs a Deep Clean

This property is great upon first look. The bedding, surfaces, and bathrooms were all very clean. The hot tub was lovely, and ready to use. During our stay, I began to notice that many of the vents, walls, door handles, and even the smoke detector were covered in dust and grime. I did let the owner know and she said it would be addressed. With a deep clean, I would give this place 5 stars.

Overall great getaway for my husband and I. Great location. Great views even for February. Hot tub was great. Both bed mattresses were very uncomfortable. Unit was clean, but needs quite a bit of cosmetic work (i.e. water damage areas, dry wall and floor, etc). The host was very responsive.. It was worth the price and might book again. Overall

Our Yurt was clean and cozy. The accommodations were spot on. The property owners provided a starter kit for us with trash bags soap, detergent, etc. it was perfect and I will be staying here again soon. Very comfortable furniture and beds made for a very relaxing weekend. It was one of the most relaxing weekends in the Smokies.

Stay if you want the view

The view and location of the property are wonderful. The house itself is cute but has some much needed maintenance items. The bed sheets and showers felt clean, but everything else in the house honestly needs a deep clean. The cleaning fee was rather high with it being generally dusty, many cobwebs, and a large nest of spiders above the only shower. Also- when a management company asks how the stay was and you let them know of the cleanliness issues- the correct response is not to tell the guest to have let you know sooner. That is a ball dropped on the host not the guest. With proper cleaning and some repairs, it could be a 5/5 property. ALSO- the hottub (primary reason for selecting this stay) was not turned on when we got there so we couldn’t use it for the first night. They tell you to expect this right before you’re arrival when really that should be in the listing.
