— POOLS x3 —
For 2026, guests have access to the 3 community pools, clubhouses, and courts (basketball, tennis, pickleball) of the Chalet Village Owners Association (CVOC). 2 passes will be provided in the chalet, in case your group wants to split up to different locations. All 3 locations are nearby, each less than 2 miles, but do require driving (roads are not suitable for pedestrians).

The amenities are owned and operated by CVOC and subject to their rules of operation. They reserve the right to limit access due to weather or occupancy. Pools are generally open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

Located to the summit of Ober Mountain, with skiing & snow-tubing (in season), ice skating, attractions, restaurants, and more. They offer clothing & equipment rentals as well as a ski-school! *We are not affiliated with Ober and guests must make their own arrangements to access the facility.

KITCHEN - Well-equipped kitchen, complete with new stainless steel appliances, a drip-style coffee maker and K-cup machine, plenty of cookware for those big meals, and more than enough dinnerware and utensils for the whole group. The refrigerator and dishwasher are large capacity models to handle all of the food and dirty dishes. For convenience, there are 2 microwaves!

DINING - The dining table counter seats provide seating for about 12. This area has a large picture window with a great view.

LIVING ROOM - In the living area, there are 3 sofas, large 65-inch HDTV, and a stacked-stone fireplace (open Oct 1 - Mar 31). Step out the French doors onto the upper deck and relax on one of the sofas or chairs, enjoy a rocking chair, or gather around the pub table, with an amazing mountain view.

DECKS - 2 new polywood decks on the rear of Mountainview Majesty enhance the mountain views. A new, state-of-the-art hot tub that seats 7 is on the lower deck. Comfortable furniture provides places to relax, dine, and enjoy the view.

INTERNET - The main level has a desk and chair for work and our high-speed gigabit Internet service, combined with the latest mesh Wi-Fi technology, lets many devices be online without interference. In short, we have great Wi-Fi!

Once reserved here, we will send a confirmation message with a link to our secure website and instructions to finalize your booking within 24 hours, or the reservation may be canceled.

The Renter of record must:
・meet the minimum age;
・provide credit card for the security deposit;
・be present during entire stay;
・upload a valid government-issued ID;
・sign our rental agreement;  and,
・provide names & ages of the entire party.

When completed, we will provide check-in information 2 days prior to your scheduled arrival by message and in our digital guidebook.

We are unable to accommodate luggage drop-off, early arrivals, or late checkouts.

— RULES/POLICIES —

・Smoking/vaping (of any kind) is not allowed.
・No pets are permitted.
・Events or parties cannot be held & only registered guests are allowed at the chalet.
・Fireplace is open Oct 1-March 31. We do not provide firewood.
・Maximum of 5 vehicles ⏤ no exceptions due to HOA rules.

▶︎ Check-in time is 4 PM or later and check-out time is 10 AM. Failure to depart by check-out time will result in a $100 per 15-minute charge as our turnover team must stay on schedule. We are unable to accommodate requests for early arrival, late checkout, or luggage drop-off.

The region is still very much "the untamed mountains", so wildlife and insects are pervasive. This is especially true of ladybugs, a beneficial species here, and their look-alike cousins, the Asian Beetle. We take every precaution and employ a monthly pest prevention program with a licensed exterminator. Regardless, you may still encounter them and other small insects or critters in or around the home.

Bear activity tends to be high in the region. Guests are usually thrilled to see them in the wild. But, don't mistake them for being tame; never approach or feed a bear (it is illegal) and be sure to not do anything to attract them! Definitely do not leave out trash or food, especially in your vehicles. They CAN smell it and WILL try to get it ⏤ causing damage.
