Moose on the Loose is a beautiful, custom built, true log cabin located in the Cobbly Nob neighborhood of Gatlinburg, TN. It has everything you need to enjoy your trip, including a fully equipped kitchen and resort amenities like 3 Community Pools + 2 Pickleball & Basketball Courts with 18 hole golf course. It is semi-secluded, nestled into the trees with a view of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park right across the street and just minutes to downtown Gatlinburg.

The space:
You will be given a code to access the cabin
There are 3 bedrooms (1 of which is located in the Rec Room) + 2.5 bathrooms that sleeps 8. You will have 3 levels with 4 decks (3 covered and 1 uncovered)

First floor:
- Queen over Queen beautiful log bunk beds (Bunks are located in the game room)
- 3-in-1 Pool / Air Hockey / Ping Pong Table and Foosball table
- Theater seating with 4 recliners and a 80-inch TV with streaming and surround sound. You can also stream your favorite music through Bluetooth over the surround sound system with subwoofer
- Covered deck with 5 person Hot Tub with color changing LED lights and a wooded view
- several board games and puzzles
- Half bathroom
- 2 ceiling fans
- Laundry room with a full size washer and dryer

Second/Main Floor:
- 9 stairs to the front deck and enter into the open kitchen/dining/sitting area
- Enjoy the option of the views of the mountains from the front deck or a wooded view from the large back deck
- Front deck is covered and has a beautiful view of the mountains or bear passing through
- Back deck has a propane grill with outdoor seating
- Upscale kitchen with beautiful granite counter tops, stainless steal appliances, and fully stocked with the essentials of home including a Keurig with optional pot or cup brewing, a crockpot and casserole dish +more
- Dining table that seats 7 + 2 more at bar area
- Fireplace with easy-to-use remote
- Small seating area next to the fireplace and kitchen with 2 rocker/swivel chairs
- Bedroom: King bed, 32-inch Smart TV with platform streaming, extra access to the back deck, and a ceiling fan
- Full bathroom offers a stone stand up shower w/ optional luxurious waterfall or detachable shower head

Third Floor:
- Take in the sunrise over the mountains on the front deck
- There is a main seating/living room area in the loft with a 45-inch TV with streaming and sectional sofa
- Large bedroom with en-suite bathroom: King size bed, 32-inch Smart TV with streaming, ceiling fan, and large bathroom with tub/shower combo

Location:
- Located in the Cobbly Nob area of Gatlinburg across from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
- Flat paved/gravel parking for 3 vehicles
- Outside gathering area and a beautiful view of the mountains
- Semi private with no neighbors behind or to the right side of the cabin
- Access to 3 community swimming pools (open from May-September) with 1 being heated and saltwater (open from May-October)
- Access to 2 community Pickleball & Basketball Courts. You can rent Pickleball equipment and Basketballs from the Security office for a refundable $25 if returned with no damage
- Walking trails

TV: You can BYO Password and use Streaming services from your favorite platform like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and many more or use the Vizio/Roku for live TV

Internet: Xfinity Internet / Ultra fast Wifi with over 300 Mbps download speed. We are located in the mountains so off the Wifi the service is spotty

Guests have access to the entire cabin.
The day before your arrival we will message you with check-in details. We are owner operated! No meeting for keys just arrive at the cabin!

Other things to note
While we offer check-ins we cannot offer check-outs on April 20th, July 4th, November 27th or December 25th. If you instant book checking-out on these days you will be asked to reschedule your stay. We do this to keep our cleaners with their families on the holidays. Thank you for understanding!

If you are traveling in Spring/Summer/Fall any type of vehicle will be able to get you to the cabin. If you are travelling in winter and it snows we recommend 4-wheel drive or chains on the tires just in case

While the roads are easily maneuverable in anything from a small sedan to a large truck, keep in mind it can get steep, narrow, or windy in some places for people use to flat land

Roads are all paved and well maintained by the community in every season but we are all at the mercy of nature or Acts of God.

GPS should bring you straight to the cabin. It is well marked with a sign at the road and at the cabin door and detailed instructions can be sent to you

Provided: STARTER KIT of K-cups, Paper towels, toilet paper, hand/body/hair/dish soap, detergents, garbage bags, salt, pepper, foil and saran wrap are provided.

Provided: Towels/ Linens. You will be given 8 bath towels and wash cloths + 8 Hot Tub towels (white with a blue line down the center) located in the Game Room on the entertainment center table.

Guest to bring: any sort of zip lock bags, cooking oils, coffee filters/grounds, sweetener, cream, tea, or grocery options, etc.

All TVs are smart TVs and offer streaming from your favorite platform (BYO Password) or Vizio channels

There are BUGS in the mountains and you might find some unwelcome guests. We have regular pest control so it makes sense you might find critters that didn't make it. Rest assured that we will have someone out right away if there are any issues

Bear sightings happen often at the cabin. I will send some literature to help be Bear-Wise. Please don't feed them or leave any food in the vehicles. They are very crafty so keep vehicle windows closed and doors locked

We recommend the purchase of Travel Insurance for all planned vacations.
