    Wonderful Cabin

    We loved the cabin and location. We had a problem with the hot tub and the owner had it fixed within a few hours. I would recommend anyone who is looking to stay in this area to choose this cabin.

    First the positives about this house. The location was great and it was easy to get to. The communication after reservation was good and check in was easy. Unfortunately thats about where it ends. There is nothing wrong with the house itself but its is definitely more dated that the pictures show. I spent the first 24 hours of our stay cleaning up. There was a bad smell when walking in that was due to the dishwasher having old rancid water sitting in the bottom of it. The toaster was broken, there were moldy coffe groungs still in the coffee pot, and when I got into the cabinets to see what we were working with the pots and pans were barely usable. Teflon scrapped down to the metal, one looked like it had been used as a hammer, and the ones that were usable still had food in them and had been put in the cupboard. Getting to the plates, cups, bowls, silverware, about half of them also had food on them. I had to take everything out of the cabinets and run them through the dishwasher. There was mold in the upstairs bathroom where you hang your clothes, the carpet had rips in it, there wasnt one good pool stick to use and the ac wasnt keeping up so my husband checked the unit and pulled out a filter that looked like it hadn't been changed in over a year. The tv in the living room worked but was obviously broken and flickered the whole time. I was offered a 30% refund of the cleaning fee which is a joke, and i never received the refund anyway.
