Came down to Tennessee from Indiana for my bachelor party to hang out and play some golf! This cabin was awesome! View was fantastic and very clean! Will definitely be back!
The cabin is beautiful. Nicely furnished and great for a larger group. Parking was ample and the living/dining/kitchen space is set up for easy interaction with the group. A few things to note: Many of the dishes that were in the cupboards were dirty (didn't look like they were well cleaned); some of the blankets smelled a bit "off" as if they needed to be washed. Overall, a great stay--just would like a bit more attention to detail on cleanliness.
Our weekend get away with the family was fabulous! The only thing I can give advice on is there needs to be more kitchen items such as mixing bowls, cake pans and cookie sheets.
Great view, place was very clean, everything worked well, layout was good for multiple separate families. The area was pleasant - no one blasting music at midnight next door keeping the kids up.
Only slight critique: the neighborhood is still being built, so there is some machinery on the road and builders doing there thing. This didn't cause us any major issues, but it's worth noting.
Beautiful home but beware of bears! Beautiful but someone has been feeding them and it was NOT us!
We will definitely return! Best birthday party home EVER!
Beautiful home but beware of bears! Beautiful but someone has been feeding them and it was NOT us!
We celebrated my mother's 82nd birthday and daughter's 16th birthday. All of the bedrooms were equally beautiful! Since they all had king size beds, the only decision was who got the only room with the bathtub and who faced the road instead of the back of the house.
A mom and her FOUR cubs came to see us twice daily. She liked the smell of the grill and we were fortunate to get everything off before she climbed up on the porch.
The kids were fascinated but this was definitely a wildlife lesson weekend!
We observed a family down the hill who did NOT take all of their food into the house. The momma bear checked out the contents of their cooler that was left out on the front porch. We warned them but they still did not bring it inside. The following night the bear tore through the canvas top of their Jeep to eat whatever they left inside. That was an EXPENSIVE lesson for why you MUST keep everything inside and hike with bear spray!
We had the absolute most amazing experience at this cabin overlooking the Smoky Mountains! Our group consisted of 2 senior citizens, 6 adults, and two children (ages 2 and 4) and everyone was beyond comfortable. The property is extremely well maintained and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Amazing that every room has its own bathroom, we could walk to the swimming pool, the hot tub and movie theater was a HUGE hit with the little kids, and the pool table a hit for the adults!! If you twisted my arm to provide any constructive feedback it would only be a nice to have to provide extra staple items upon arrival, such as a few extra toilet paper and paper towel rolls, trash bags, laundry detergent, etc. just to help tide guests over at the beginning of the stay. But it is close enough to grocery stores in Gatlinburg so by all means it’s a nice to have.
If you’re looking for a large family stay where a family of all ages can have an amazing time, book this cabin now!! Your family will thank you! Thank you Cabins for You for an amazing stay!
