Welcome to Southern Comfort, a beautifully renovated 3-bedroom, 3-bath townhome in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg! Nestled in a peaceful creekside neighborhood, this charming getaway is just an 8-10 minute walk to the Strip, 1 mile from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and offers access to a seasonal community pool.

Great property, great location

The layout was great for a combined family group with 3 separate bedrooms on different floors, each with its own bathroom. The hosts provided a variety of toiletries, snacks, etc. which were greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Gatlinburg in the future.

Nice and roomy condo. Decor was nice and enjoyed the screened in porch but wish there was a view from it. It was a nice walk to downtown Gatlinburg from the condo so didn’t have to worry about parking. The only things that were a bit of a pain was trying to lock the door to the condo when leaving and the main part of the house was upstairs so to get to the kitchen, living room or porch, you had to walk up a flight of stairs. But overall, it was a nice place to stay and we enjoyed our week there!

Lovely Gatlinburg spot

We had the best time at this well-equipped condo and felt the radical hospitality the moment we walked in the door. Was the perfect spot for a girls' weekend with MUCH time spent on the balcony/porch. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Beautiful Gatinburg Getaway

The floor plan was perfect for me and my grown children. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were well appointed. The kitchen was the perfect size for our family. The proximity to the strip was ideal and provided easy access to shops and restaurants. Overall a very positive experience!

This home is beautifully decorated, clean, spacious and within walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg. I appreciated the extras: snacks in the kitchen and the extras in the bathroom (toothbrush/paste and a razor with shaving cream). I would definitely stay stay there again.

The extra touch

Upon entering the condo, one could tell how professionally cleaned it had been. The condo was fully stocked with enough towels etc for the entirety of the stay and the basket of snacks was a great extra!

Adorable Condo within walking distance of Downtown

This was one of those rare occasions where the property was even better than we expected. The layout, decor, cleanliness and amenities really make this a great property. Our first day was a torrential downpour and it was lovely to watch the lightning storm from the porch and enjoy the faux fireplace on the deck.

Perfect Location!!

My daughter and I had a magical Gatlinburg getaway! We LOVED this home!!! Absolutely perfect for us! The layout, decor and proximity to downtown was ideal. It was so cozy from the fireplace to the comfy beds. We walked into town easily every day-enjoyed Anakeesta, Astra Lumina, Mysterious Mansion,Dollywood, The Island, Skyland Ranch just to name a few! Being so close to downtown made the trip even more perfect! The hosts were responsive, accommodating and provided supplies above and beyond. Far and away one of our favorite rentals and vacations!! Gatlinburg Trip

Layout was nice. Location was good to downtown Gatlinburg. Condo needs a good clean lots of trash, empty cups, cigarette buts and food under the patio furniture. Also found trash under the beds? Balloons etc

Perfect for Family Get-Together!

This property was perfect for our family get together. We wanted something that would allow us to spend time together but still have separate spaces for sleeping, and this place was perfect! With the bedrooms on three separate floors, it gave each family our own space to retreat to. The living area connected to the screened in porch and outdoor area was perfect for our size group (5 adults and 3 kids). There was a restroom on every floor. It was located close to a trolley stop for easy access to Gatlinburg. We loved it!

Cleanliness

The place was in a great location and was modern. It does need a good deep clean. There is popcorn behind the couch that we didn’t eat, a baby onesie other the bottom level closet (not ours) and our socks were dirty from the floors. Overall I would stay again but it does need a good cleaning.

Perfect Location

We stayed August of 2023. The unit was within walking distance to the parkway (less than 5 minutes) and a short drive to the park. The pool was clean and nice for the hot afternoons. The unit itself was just as it is in the pictures. Our only complaints were that the kitchen could be better stocked (pot holders and more cooking sheets/bakeware) and that the unit could use a deep clean (the floors hide dirt well and the white baseboards in the bathrooms had a buildup of dirt/dust). We loved how modern the unit was and the location, and would stay here again!

Location is great, cleanliness could use some work.

This is a wonderful property located walking distance from downtown gatlinburg and only 25 minutes from pigeon forge. Truly has everything you could want to see near by, we only got in our care once to go to pigeon forge. The only con was the cleanliness of the property. When we got there I put my one year old on the floor in the living room while we got the cars unloaded and when I can back 3 minutes later his knees, feet and hands were black from crawling around, eeek. One of the bath tubs has mold in it which you probably wouldn’t have noticed if you weren’t bathing a baby. But all in all location is everything and had what we needed.

Great location, but unit needs some servicing

Overall it was a decent stay and the host was very receptive and understanding of our concerns and even refunded part of our stay. Main issues were cleanliness. Pictures make it appear the unit is facing the stream (I do not think this was meant to be deceptive, just a wrong interpretation on my part) but it does not. Pool wasn’t the cleanest either. We did see two bears on the property while there so that was absolutely accurate! It is a cute unit in a great location to be able to walk to things it just needs a bit of tending to.
