About this property
Designer Victorian · Near Gatlinburg · Hot Tub
Idyllic Victorian is exactly what its name promises — a stylized Victorian-style cabin tucked just off Ski Mountain Road, 1.5 miles from the heart of downtown Gatlinburg. It doesn't look like any other cabin in the Smokies, and that's the point: arched windows, designer interiors, a leather-seated living room around a gas fireplace, and a deck with a hot tub built for unwinding after a day on the Parkway.
The home sleeps up to eight, but it's at its best as a getaway for two couples, a small family, or anyone who'd rather come home to character than to another log cabin. Pet-friendly (one dog, $100 pet fee, no breed or size restrictions).
Best for: couples, small families, and travelers who want a stylish basecamp 5 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg.
Beds 🛏️ - 1 King bed w/ ensuite bathroom (upstairs master) - 1 Queen bed w/ ensuite bathroom (upstairs) - Futon in upstairs flex/game room - Sleeper sofa in the living room - Pack & Play available for infants
The Space 🏡 - Main floor: fully equipped kitchen, dining room, leather-seated living room with gas fireplace, half bathroom - Upstairs: King master with ensuite, Queen second bedroom with ensuite, plus a flex/game room with futon, gaming systems, record player, and karaoke - Outside: spacious deck with private hot tub and outdoor seating
Location 📍 - 1.5 miles to downtown Gatlinburg - 11 miles to The Island in Pigeon Forge - 13 miles to Dollywood
A note on the drive: this is a true mountain home — the access road off Ski Mountain Rd is steep and winding, and we strongly recommend AWD or 4WD November through March. Mountain views are seasonal and clearest when the leaves are down (roughly Nov–Mar).
Exterior security cameras only (driveway and entrance) — no cameras inside the home or in any private areas.
Your stay also includes $940 in complimentary activity tickets — one free admission per day at Dollywood, Ober Mountain Aerial Tramway, and other top Smokies attractions.

The house was perfect for our party of 6, everyone slept comfortably and the property was great. I would definitely recommend staying here with friends or family. We sighted bears every day of the stay which was very exciting.
FUN BIRTHDAY/ANNIVERSARY WEEKEND WITH HUSBAND AND FRIENDS. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT EXCEPT FOR THE LEAVES AROUND THE HOT TUB AND THE CLEANLINESS OF THE HOTTUB.GREAT KITCHEN, BEDROOMS AND GREAT EATING NEARBY.

Cassidy was amazing from the start till end. The property is beautiful and cozy. And the view is breathtaking! Definitely recommend going here for your Gatlinburg stay.
I really enjoyed my stay. The property was quiet and clean. It was very easy to get in contact with the property if I had any issues. The code for the door gave me some issues but other than that I really enjoyed my stay!
Great location to downtown Gatlinburg. Condo was exactly as listed on VRBO. Beautiful view from the back deck. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy the Smoky Mountains!
Overall this place was very nice. It is about 4 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg which is exactly what I was looking for; close enough to enjoy all the activities but also in the mountains in a quite beautiful neighbor hood with a great view.
It was wonderful! We will always think of it, has the bear vacation. We really enjoyed the hot tub. The house was wonderful. The bears were extremely exciting to watch from the safety of the deck. We truly loved it
Beautiful house high in the mountains. We saw a bear multiple times walk in front of the house. Clean and welcoming home. Gatlinburg is a short drive away.
The house And view were beautiful. We loved the location and the hot tub was a wonderful amenitie. We had excellent communication with the hosts. We were delighted to be able to see a mama bear and 3 cubs from the safety of our deck. Whe needs to drive into the Smokies with that view and entertainment
I booked last minute and still had expeditious communication with the host. I also received amazing accommodation support due to travel needs for our visit. The property is exactly as shown and has extensive provisions stocked.
Having a comfortable and clean place to stay is always a requirement, but receiving exceptional service makes a trip worth repeating.
Will definitely visit again.
The property is charming and clean. All of the amenities were ready and accessible. The deck is an amazing place to hang out by the fire pit or in the jacuzzi. All of the rooms and kitchen are well furnished. We loved our vacation and even had a bear visit us! We will definitely return to this property when we come to Gatlinburg. Thank you to the host, and Magnolia Vacations!
We loved this cabin! Great location and beautiful rental! The property manager was quick to reply to all questions! Listing does say for 8 people, however we found that is a little cramped. Even for 6 people, there is one king bed, one queen bed, a small fold out futon, and an air mattress in the closet. Other than the sleeping situation, this place is very cute and very clean!
We came here for a Moms weekend away. To relax, spend time together and enjoy the mountains. This house did NOT disappoint. Everything was wonderful. The house was spotless, the beds were comfortable and the view was beautiful! It was exactly what we needed and we will definitely try to stay again. If we could have, we would have extended our trip and stayed longer. Thank you.
We had a group of 7 adults. We did fit snug but we did all fit. The location was beautiful but I will say I wish there was more on the listing of how steep the drive was- it was expected since it’s gatlinburg but it was steep in our vehicles. The property was very clean but there were a lot of skids on the walls but personally that didn’t bother me at all. I would book this again! The decor was beautiful.
Really liked the house. Liked being at the end of a dead end road with only one neighbor. The one lane, no pull off road kept us alert in the mountains. No welcome book or visitor log. We lost power along with a few hundred neighbors. None of the battery operated candles worked, but we did find a flashlight. We would rent the house again because it was very nice.
We saw 4 bears!!! This was the highlight of the trip! There is 1 other house in the cul-de-sac and the family staying there said a mama bear actually came up on their porch while they were hot-tubbing. Also, the bear tried getting inside their car so make sure you lock your doors! So cool!
I love that this isn’t the typical log cabin. The house has every amenity of a log cabin plus more because it feels extra fun with the Victorian features. The hot tub was great & the kids loved that we could adjust the temperature. It’s totally close to everything in Gatlinburg, but removed enough to feel private.
Just one suggestion - there are only 4 towels provided so bring a few of your own.
Yes check-in easy but location very hard to find - never found Holly Branch Drive street sign / GPS no good as we had no signal / Very narrow, windy and long one-way drive up to location so pray you don't meet a car coming down from adjacent houses / Nice house with view / quiet / bed very comfortable / had a few issues with coffee pot and TV usage / texted owner via the phone number provided first day of arrival - never received a response or reply / just expressing my honest feedback / would i stay there again? - probably yes as I would be better prepared knowing what to expect next trip
We really enjoyed our stay. From the steep drive to the house to the nice views and bear sightings, we found our stay to be an adventure. The house was very comfortable and roomy. The beds were cozy but they could use some new pillows in the main bedroom. There are no dressers, so we did live out of our suitcases, but they did provide suitcase stands. I do wish they would clean the outdoor cushions more often. They were wet and dirty. I’m sure it’s hard to keep them in good shape considering the thick woods draped all around the porch. We stood them up so they could dry and then we used towels to sit on them. Otherwise, the home was really clean. The hosts were really nice and were very responsive and welcoming. Overall, it was a great experience my family will treasure for years to come.
The property was very nice. However, very small. We had 7 people and there wasn’t enough room. We had four adults, two teenagers, and one child. The pull out sofa was a futon. The bedrooms are all on one level. No privacy as all the rooms connect. The room with the futon is not a bedroom. It was more of a book nook. We had a few minor issues. Fireplace wasn’t working, some of the doors do not latch, shower curtain was yellow at the bottom, outlets are wonky. GFI was tripped and we thought the microwave wasn’t working. There wasn’t enough towels or silverware for 7 people. We washed quite a bit. The response about the fireplace was fast. They offered to send someone out but we were at Ober. Very convenient place to get to Ober. Beautiful views. It was beautifully decorated. The walls definitely need some satin paint. The walls have lots of black marks and discoloration from the flat paint. Be sure to bring some cookware such as a hand mixer and colander. Overall it was a decent place and the bathrooms were clean and clean sheets. Which is the most important.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The home was very close to town, but still up in the hills far enough to have great views and some privacy from the busy tourist area. The views were beautiful and the living room was a very comfortable space to unwind at the end of the day. The beds were comfortable and the dining room was just right for 6. I read that the hot tub may not be ready upon our arrival due to cleaning between guests- which I was happy to hear. The Owners checked in on us and sent out what was needed. We had a family of 5 including 3 teens. The rest of what I’m sharing I knew going in as I read it in comments. The home is great for a single family or maybe two couples with a child or two. The bedrooms upstairs are in a loop. This means that the outer bedrooms has a door and a bathroom inside that door. But the room in the center has a futon and can only be reached by going through one of those outer bedrooms. This wasn’t an issue for my family and I read this prior to staying from another guest. However I would say that the home sleeps 5 in beds vs 7. The home had some basic things like coffee, tea, and sugar. It also was decorated cute and we even saw a bear. It could use a fresh coat of paint in the halls and main living areas. The flat paint makes it look older and less fresh and clean. Lastly, this is in the mountains so I wouldn’t arrive in the dark for the 1st time as the last few turns are on what I consider a one lane road. That is more of a good to know note.
****CALL AHEAD BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
We arrived to find that animals had entered the cabin looking for food and it was a disaster. Trash everywhere!!
I will say the host and phone assistance were responsive and refunded our money but there were no accommodations they could offer that would suit our needs so we had to find a hotel on our own.
The cabin was vacant for at least a day so I would have hoped someone would have come by to ensure things were in order for the next guest.
Very frustrating! CALL AHEAD so you don’t experience the headache we did.
