The Curious Bear Cabin is a place you can relax with your loved ones in front of the fire or out on the deck enjoying the hot tub.
This luxurious cabin is located in Gatlinburg just 3 miles from the action on the main strip in Gatlinburg & everything on the parkway in Pigeon Forge and all the main attractions.You are only 1 mile to the Gatlinburg Welcome Center where you can take the trolley to all the fun in town.
This cabin offers peace and serenity which will leave you feeling rested and relaxed. The fully equipped kitchen and gas grill will complete any culinary desires you may have. Enjoy a comfy night cuddled up, taking in the warmth of the fireplace. Enjoy the outdoors and do a little nature watching from the comfort of your own deck chairs or take in the sights and sounds of a peaceful evening. Being in the Smokies is a great place anytime of year.
Cades Cove is near by and a great place to take a hike and take in all the Beauty of the Smoky Mountains. And since we are pet friendly you don't have to leave your dog at home.
We want you to feel at home whether its just you and your loved one or if you bring the kids they will enjoy their own private upstairs loft bedroom area and private bathroom
There is level parking and you are only about 10 minutes from the main parkway in Pigeon Forge, close enough to be part of the action but far enough to enjoy the quiet nature. We hope you enjoy The Curious Bear and we are happy you have chosen Gatlinburg for your vacation getaway.

Perfect location!
We loved it! It is just about ideal location wise, being right between Pidgeon Forge and Gatlinburg. And despite being so close to all the activity, it still felt very remote and removed. The king size bed was so comfy too! The place is clean and well appointed. Instructions were clear for check in/check out. It was a very nice stay. Our only negative is that the kid bedroom area upstairs is an open loft, so that bedroom has no way of shutting out the light/noise from the living room. We had to hang out in the bedroom and give the kids some time to fall asleep before we could 'sneak out' and use the hot tub in the evening. Also if you have very young kids (early walkers), the stair case and bed set up might not be friendly. Our 3 year old did fall out of the twin bed once. She was fine, but it is something to keep in mind. Over all though, we loved it. We'd definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in the area again. :)

A real treat
this cabin gets very good ratings but you just never know. In my opinion, every single one was spot on. We traveled with our dog Tedi and she is 70 lbs. While staying in a cabin called "curious bear", traveling with a dog may seem like a bad idea. It wasn't. There was plenty to do in town with her and even just hanging at the cabin was great. We didn't see a bear all weekend thinking they might have smelled Tedi. But, right before we left, we saw a bear and her cubs. Tedi was not close to the bears and barked like crazy. very exciting and not scary because we were given good information about the area. don't miss this little jewel!

Summer trip
We extended our summer vacation by making a quick little stop in Gatlinburg! This cabin was the best! Besides being clean, comfy beds, the location was great, close to everything but also gives you the quietness of nature. My kids didn’t want to leave!! Hoping next year we can do it again!

Excellent Property
The property, which apparently was recently redone, is in excellent condition and well-appointed. There are actually plenty of electrical outlets! The interior was in excellent/line new shape and perfect for myself and my two grandsons. The view from the deck is very good and the location quiet while being convenient. The owner was very responsive in communications. I highly recommend this property.

Very comfortable; accommodating hosts!
The cabin was great! All the amenities you could want! The master bed was SO comfortable and afforded us GREAT nights sleep! The hosts were most accommodating!! We didnt try the tram into town, but wish we had! Parking in town was not only expensive, but very hard to find at times! The only thing that would have made it better is if the pet fees were even 50 to 75% refundable if no damage was found, but, I knew that it wasnt refundable when I booked. Many other cabins i found did offer refunds of pet fee deposit. My 10 pound chihuahua who stayed in her own crate overnight and while we were away did no damage and never has accidents, but, I agreed to that in the contract, just wish it were even 50% refundable, when no damage caused. But other than that, cabin was GREAT! Be aware, there are only 2 hiking trails in the area where dogs are permitted, for those traveling with a dog.

Relaxing Retreat
This cabin is a great place to stay. The cabin is very clean and has all the essentials. We loved sitting on the front and back porch watching the birds and admiring the Mountain Views. The location is really central to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge as well as the park. The cabin was the perfect place to unwind after the business of the days. Don’t hesitate to stay here! If we find ourselves in the Smoky mountains again we would like to return.

Best Cabin for our Anniversary
This cabin was perfect for our 20th wedding anniversary. Bonus was having 2 bathrooms so i could have my own space. Best part was the hot tub for sure!!. Location was perfect for going to either Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Definitely recommend this cabin for couples or small families. Hope some day to come back and enjoy again.

One of the best cabins in Gatlinburg
The cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. I enjoyed sitting on the porch drinking my morning coffee and returning home to soak in the hot tub. Check in was a breeze and had no issues with my stay. I would stay again!

Sisters Trip!
My sisters and I had an amazing stay at the cabin. So conveniently located to everything. And it had everything we needed. The hot tub was a great treat after a long day doing all the things Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville had to offer. We would definitely choose this cabin again. And even though we had all the contact information for the host, we never needed to contact them. They had given us all the info we needed for our stay before our trip. 🐻
