The National Park is nearby where you can enjoy hiking, fishing, rafting, horseback riding, ziplining, sightseeing, and much more! Visit Ober Gatlinburg ski resort and ride the Ariel tramway and 1800 foot slide! There’s something primal about our need to reconnect with nature. The sights, sounds and smells in nature quicken our senses and make us feel more present, more at peace and more alive. To experience it is to remember that we are each a part of something bigger and wondrous, like the Great Smoky Mountains of eastern Tennessee. Shrouded in an ethereal mist, the ancient peaks of the bluish-hued Smokies straddle the border between Tennessee and North Carolina. They are the centerpiece of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the most-visited national park in the U.S.
The park is filled with opportunities to immerse yourself in the great outdoors, with 850 miles of trails to hike, bike or horseback ride beneath a canopy of leafy branches.
