Wonderful cabin

amazing stay

Family time

Clean and very comfortable, fully equipped cabin. Family can enjoy time together with only a 10 minute drive to downtown and all the activities. Only one glitch with the parking space but doable.

5 bears cabin

Cleanest place I've stayed. The cabin had beautiful views. We saw one bear at night walking through the neighborhood. Kitchen was well stocked. Loved the kids plates and utensils.

One of our best stays

This was by far the cleanest cabin we have ever stayed in. No pet smells or dirty rugs that smell like feet. It is conveniently located close to everything. We even saw a momma bear and a cub. We will definitely consider staying here again if there is availability. Thanks Dave and April.

Beautiful!

I blindly booked the 5 Bears cabin with only looking at the pictures on line. I was very pleased with how accurate the pictures were and beautiful the mountain view was from the deck. I was also impressed with how clean the cabin was. The booking and checking in was extremely easy. My family will be booking again!

Comfortable, functional and stylish

The updated decor was very welcoming. The kitchen was well appointed and everything in the chalet was in perfect working order. We loved that the children could play and sleep downstairs, while the adults enjoyed the main level in the evening hours.

Great Location in Gatlinburg

This cabin is fantastic! Very clean, well maintained, tons of space, easy communication with owners. Our family had a great time here! It isn't super secluded but it is a very nice, quiet area and easy to drive in. The location is also perfect, it's only about 10-15 minutes to Gatlinburg. You can avoid a lot of the traffic by using one of the first parking garages on the left in downtown. We thought everything was great and if we come back to the area we would stay here again. Highly recommend :)

Five Bears Cabin = 5 Stars

As a grandparent, you strive to make your grandkids smile. Five Bears Cabin did exactly that. From the bunk beds, game room and hot tub to playing card games at the big dining table, they smiled. Thank you so much for making them happy. Gail and Mike

Great location and beautiful cabin!!

We stayed for a volleyball tournament at Rocky Top which is very convenient to where this cabin is located. A lot of people were stuck in traffic the mornings of the tournament but we got there in less than 5 minutes which made it much less stressful. The layout and amenities in the cabin are 5 star. My only regret is that we got to enjoy the cabin more but we were at the tournament most of the weekend. We did enjoy the hot tub and my kids loved the Pac Man game located in the lower level. I highly would recommend this cabin to anyone!

Gatlinburg vacation.

We booked our stay at this cabin early in the year. The closer our arrival date of July 23 got, the more excited we became. The cabin is located out of Gatlinburg proper which we preferred to avoid the crowds. It is situated in a quiet area east of the strip up off of 321. The cabin was clean, comfortable and spacious with many of the amenities of home. The heat index for most of our stay was over 100 degrees so we were glad that the air conditioner kept us comfortable. All in all it was an enjoyable trip and we would not hesitate to book this cabin again.

Happy Place

This cabin was our happy place for a whole week. It was perfect for our multi family vacation. It’s located close to downtown Gatlinburg. And, close to a trolley stop where you can park for free and ride the trolley into town instead of paying $20/day to park downtown. We loved playing the games at the cabin - connect 4 bolted to a wall, baggo on the balcony, etc. We greatly enjoyed the hot tub. The owners are fantastic to work with. They are super helpful and friendly. I will say we weren’t impressed with the pool - LOTS of ants around the pool, and the water was cloudy. But, we loved everything about the cabin, so we had a good experience regardless.

Enjoyable vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. It was out of Gatlinburg and off of the main route which was wonderful! We were there for Hands on Gatlinburg, and this cabin was the perfect place to stay. It was 1.2 miles from several of our classes and less than 2 miles from the others. The cabin was well stocked with games to play, pots and pans to cook and dishes to serve, an a television for the one person in our group who wanted to watch TV to enjoy, and a hot tub. The only negative I could say was that the mattresses needed to go. It is time to replace them. I have reported this to the owner and I hope that they will deal with that matter. All in all, a great vacation had a wonderful property.

Family Trip

We had a great time. The cabin was excellent. We weren't there all that much - but it made for a perfect "home" at the end of each busy day. We were really spoiled while we were there. We are only a family of 4 so each kid had their own bedroom and essentially own bathroom. They loved it. They loved the hot tub and the multiple porches. We were thankful to have a washer and dryer as well. The cabin provided everything we needed. I brought extra t.p. and paper towels but didn't end up needing them. I was glad to have brought extra kleenex though. We were able to easily park outside the cabin. And we enjoyed the location - we often took the back roads to avoid the craziness of downtown Gatlinburg. I thought the cabin was an excellent location for keeping us near all that we wanted to do, but with also giving us the mountain-cabin feel that we wanted. oh, and the Wi-Fi worked very well too! April was a wonderful and welcoming host. Thank you for a great week! Your home is beautiful

Wonderful Cabin with a great view!

The cabin was beautiful and exactly as described. We enjoyed the master suite on the top floor and the kids loved the rooms on the lower levels, complete with games, their own TV's (never used much) and their own bathroom. The view of the mountain was a wonderful sight each morning, enjoying the time before the young ones woke up. Shuffle board and the hot tub were the most used thing in the house. We had a great stay. I have to express my gratitude to April & Dave, along with Nancy. They were great with replying to all messages, texts and questions. We had an issue with a ceiling fan that was fixed by the next day. There was a day that I forgot to turn on the A/C and received a message from the hosts saying that they turned on the A/C for us, just so the house was cool when we returned (the temps were cool at night but warm during the day). Lastly and most importantly, even thought we thought we checked all rooms before leaving, we lost a new hoodie that my daughter purchased on the trip. We emailed April & Dave and they said they would check. Nothing was found right away and we thought we were out of luck. Then we noticed a few more items missing from our luggage after a few days. We contacted April & Dave again saying there was more missing and if anything had been found. After a few days, we got some great news! It seems even though we checked all rooms prior to leaving, we missed a load of laundry in the dryer. It was found by the cleaners, packed away thinking it was extra sheets. April & Dave were very happy to send it back to us at their cost, even though I would have paid whatever they asked, just to make my girls happy to get their new items back. April & Dave went above and beyond for our stay there. I will definitely be returning to one of their cabins for our next trip. THANK YOU APRIL, DAVE AND NANCY!

We loved this cozy cabin for our vacation. It snowed while we were here so the gas fireplace was a plus! We also had the privledge of seeing a bear during our stay which was such a cool experience! I hope to come back again.

Wonderful time and clean cabin

The cabin was amazing. It's in a great location and so clean. I'm a stickler on clean and this cabin met all of my expectations. We had a shower not draining, I contacted the owners and within an hour on a Sunday they had it fixed. That is some great service! We will be back! We also saw a family of bears a couple of times which was a bonus.

We enjoyed the hot tub, shuffle board table, giant connect 4, and the arcade games. We also enjoyed seeing 10 bears during our stay. 3 of them were in this neighborhood. 1 was on our neighbor’s front porch!

Fabulous

This was a wonderful getaway for our family of four. We literally saw a bear every day; but seriously don’t leave your trash on the porch! Our neighbors did not read that rule🙄, and those bears had fun. It was well equipped with all you need for cooking and relaxing. Super stay; lovely setting 5 ⭐️!
