This was the perfect cabin for our stay! We got married over the weekend and our 3 children and their spouses joined us. Each had their own room and bathroom which was very nice! Kitchen had plenty of cookware. Pool table, hot tub, and sauna were great amenities! The decks were quiet and peaceful! Would definitely stay again and recommend to others! *only small recommendation would be addtl lighting over the mirrors in the bathrooms but would not hinder us from staying again!
Our family of 9 have stayed here twice because the cabin fits our family, it’s clean and it is in a great location. We will definitely stay here again.
The cabin needs a little TLC. The bathroom knobs don’t lock, the carpet needs to be replaced from animals digging into it, the carpets need to be shampooed due to making the cabin smell like urine. With all that being said, we really did have a great time in the cabin. Everything mentioned are small/minor things that we feel can be corrected to make it feel a little cleaner and private. The location was absolutely great! We got to see some bears while walking our dog in the mornings.
We stayed for a tournament in town and there was plenty of room for us and our friends. The beds were comfy and clean, the kitchen was big enough for everyone, and the amenities were nice.
My family had a great weekend get away at this property. The cabin was clean, plenty of room for my family and my kids loved the pool table. Property is also close to Gatlinburg which was a huge plus!
This cabin was exactly as listed. From the initial check in day to the checkout day, Diamond Rentals was on top of everything. We would stay here again without hesitation.
Property was just what we needed for family to be together between wedding events. We didn't use the extra amenities, but enjoyed having a bathroom for every bedroom.
The house was great and the neighborhood was just right. We were happy to be close to the Food City, as the traffic in downtown Gatlinburg is very heavy. We had plenty of room for the kids to do a puzzle during a rainy day. The pool table gave a lot of enjoyment.
Great location if you want to get away to the mountains but still be within a short drive to all the parks & museums. Beds were comfy and plenty of amenities. Warning: Trash cans are not secure and you will receive nightly wildlife visitors even if your trash is properly put in bags.
Honey Bear Hideaway is well designed to accommodate couples and children. We loved sharing time together in front of the fireplace in the living room, the porches and the rec room, while still having the privacy of our own suites. The beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are spacious. The location is close to the action and attractions of Gatlinburg. The Artisan Loop was close by, as well as Cosby.Even closer was a grocery store, shopping, gas etc., so it was easy and convenient to shop for the necessities. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin for families or friends traveling together.
The property was in a wonderful area with a gorgeous view, plenty of privacy and easy access to downtown Gatlinburg as well as the Arts and Crafts Community. It's definitely bear country, and we saw quite a few. We didn't use the hot tub or jacuzzi tubs, but the pool table was great. We have no complaints except that it was a bit difficult to walk the dog though that's to be expected on the mountain. Otherwise, everything was perfect. We would definitely stay again.
Whoever cleans this does an amazing job it was clean. I didn’t realize the cabins were so close to each other we had one night with very loud obnoxious neighbors. Didn’t use the hot tub but it was making a humming noise so we opened it and found it less than 1/2 full so we filled it. That should have been addressed before we arrived I feel. it’s close to attractions which was nice. You should replace the couch it’s not comfortable. If you have a dog just know there really isn’t much of anywhere to take it out to potty. The beds were comfy! If your looking for a nice view of the mountains this isn’t the place for you it sits low and too many trees in the way
This property was well suited for our short, 4-night stay. The beds were all King-sized and extremely comfortable. The main floor has 2 bedrooms, kitchen, & living room which were wonderful for my 90-year-old mother, who didn't want to go up & down a lot of stairs. There are only a couple of stairs to enter the property. We enjoyed the hot tub & were thrilled that the property allowed dogs, however, there are not a lot of grassy areas to walk them, but we enjoyed walking the neighborhood. The road on which the property is located is steep, winding, & VERY narrow. Meeting another car, especially a large vehicle, is a frightening experience! I would be hesitant to drive my minivan here in the winter months as it was hard to gain traction on the road when it was wet from rain, & I have nearly new, all-weather tires. There is also a lot of construction going on that started fairly early. We had an amusing visit in the middle of the night from a raccoon on the patio who loved tormenting our dogs & knocked over the garbage cans. Several neighbors warned us about bear sightings in the area, but there were no issues. We just kept the dogs inside & were very aware during their walks. I had hoped to see one! The kitchen furnishings were sufficient. I do wish the chairs reclined, but that is just me wanting to nap! I do want to reiterate that the property itself is lovely, & none of my comments would preclude me from renting here again.
