The place was nice, listed correctly, and in a great location. Definitely a nice place for a larger family, or two couples with a couple of kids. Downsides were...the driveway was very steep, not enough parking for more than two cars, and the house was too cluttered with more furniture than necessary
Great stay and great location for downtown Gatlinburg, all wood cabin in and out with log furniture throughout. Kids loved all the log wood furniture cabin is in the woods for country feeling but real close to all attractions.
Wonderful property nestled in the mountainous area. Check in/check out was simple and easy. The cabin had all the amenities from cooking dinner to making coffee. They have a Keurig!!! And of course the traditional coffee pot. Loved those options for our morning cup in front of the fireplace! The fireplace was wonderful. It's close to getting to downtown Gatlinburg and super convenient for those playing sports at Rocky Top Sports World.

Good rating -could be great with some attention
This log house is very pretty with a nice floorplan. Nice that there is a community pool with swings and a basketball court. However, the pool shown in the property listing is no longer there. New pool has no waterfall and there is no pickleball/tennis net as pictured. The house has a nice floorplan but is much smaller than the photos look and the square footage is not included online. Finally, while the kitchen and bathrooms were clean, the place was very dusty including light fixtures in the bathrooms. The floors were also very dusty / dirty as were the windows and doors. A deep cleaning once in a while would make a huge difference. Good though was the absence of any bugs! Management company gave quick service with a maintenance issue with a door handle.
We met up with two other couples. The cabin was perfect for group. We had no issues at all. I even left some clothes on accident and contacted management. They had them sent to me. Great cabin and management team.
My wife and I took 7 Grandchildren to Gatlinburg and stayed in this cabin. It was awesome. The kids loved it. The pool was within nearby walking distance and there was ample room and baths for everyone. Our only disappointment....we didn't get to see a bear!

Big Timber in the Smoky Mountains
This is an amazing log cabin!
You will feel completely connected to the earth with all the tree-inspired furniture.
For those of you that cook a lot, this cabin needed a better variety and quality of pans. You also have to get your own gas tank for the grill and the grill rack was a too dirty for me to feel comfortable cooking on.
Finally, the driveway is steep, so I parked at the base of the driveway and had no problems.
Overall this was a great cabin!
Very nice property. The driveway is extremely steep which was quite terrifying when it snowed. There is no reason to have a jacuzzi in the 3rd bathroom. The hot water heater isn't big enough to fill it past the jets. A hot tub outside would be better with the 3rd bathroom being converted to a shower. Overall a beautiful cabin.
very good but the cleaning is very poor there is a lot of dust on the walls and it needs a blender it is terrible that it has one there some knives that are not useful are very old
Wonderful stay and a very cozy place. Only suggestion is that there was a little more attention to cleanliness. There was dust and cob webs from light fixtures and underneath or on furniture. There were dishes, mostly mugs, that were not cleaned very well and quite noticeable. Loved the cabin and would definitely stay again if owners would have us. Just suggesting a little more cleaning.

Great Location, Immaculately Clean, Huge Porch, Very Quiet
Cabin was great and we would stay there again. Very, very clean. No smell. Everything worked perfectly. Quiet neighborhood. A couple of miles from a full-service grocery - then a couple of more miles to downtown Gatlinburg and the park entrance.
Kitchen and main living area is on the second floor and there are quite a few steps to get there. Full-sized refrigerator chilled our beverages quickly.
This cabin earned its five-stars. Nice job. We loved it.

Birthday Getaway
The cabin was clean and cozy when we arrived. We weren’t expecting to be so close to other cabins. The parking is on an incline so just a heads up. The jacuzzi tub wasn’t holding any water so my mom wasn’t able to run a bath and this is her favorite thing to do on vacation. I told the owners and I was told they could come next day(our check out day). We were bummed out for my mom. The rest of the cabin was nice tho
Took over 2 hrs to get checked in so we was very late getting in the cabin. Sinks wouldnt drain. Dish washer leaked in the floor. Didnt recieve the ti kets we was promised. Pool was closed the first day there. Overall not a very good stay.
The cabin overall was less than expected. There were a few things that were disappointing and concerning. The couch on the main floor and the chair in the loft were both ripped, the television remote didn't work the tv properly, most of the tv functions couldn't be used due to this, 2 of the beds had broken springs and were really saggy, many of the glasses and silverware were still dirty when we arrived, there was hair on multiple towels, the dining room table was sticky, there was dust and webs throughout the cabin. It didn't seem as though the cabin was thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. The most concerning issue was the fireplace, the timer for the fireplace was non functional so we couldn't turn the fireplace off. You had to wait until the it timed out so we didn't feel safe leaving it going to bed until it timed out and also wasn't sure it if it was fully shutting off and pushing gas into the cabin which could have been very dangerous and potentially fatal. We are also very disappointed in the lack of hottub that was stated in the listing, we were really looking forward to utilizing the hottub and it was a deciding factor in us selecting that cabin especially at the price. You can see the drain for it and where it sat, we had instructions for closing it on the checkout and instructions in the reservation for it like it was recently removed but the information was not updated. It gave us false excitement and expectations. Overall we were very disappointed

Comfy cabin on the hill
The cabin was perfect for our family. There was a changing table and crib already set up for my grandson and the high chair was in the kitchen. The toddler toys and playground close were nice. The railings on the balcony were kid proof making for a relaxing time. The kitchen was small but adequate, I dont like cooking anyway. Dishes, pots and pans were nice and fit the mountain theme. There was even a cabinet of plastic ware for the baby. TVs all worked and the lower sitting room was nice for the kids to do homework. We did have a bear attack the outside trash can one night, he left claw an teeth marks, a reminder to look outside before you open the door in the mornings. The grocery store was just down the street. We had a great time. Only sad thing is that the new pool was not yet open.
It was a great time. We will come back.

Not as pictured
The Smokys are a beautiful place with many options. This cabin fell short though as being one we’d recommend. The pictures of the cabin make it appear much larger then it is in actuality. I”The cabin is very dusty and outdoor railings are not sturdy. Also, the view pictured is not what you should expect to see. Trees have grown and obstructed any Mountain View. On the very narrow porch, you can expect to see the roofs of cabins below and that’s it. The furniture is very worn and appears to be unclean. As others state, the driveway is SUPER STEEP and isn’t for the faint of heart when parking. For the positives, this cabin is in a community away from the traffic jams of downtown Gatlinburg but close enough to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The community pool is within walking distance. For the cost of this cabin your money is better spent at another location.

Family time
Log home is great. Lots of kitchen items, dishes, pots, utensils etc.
Beds great , lots of towels. Disappointed in a few things. Pictures show pool but when we got there the pool nearest to us was closed. It took the management company a full day to respond that there was another pool further up the curvy mountain road that teenagers could not walk to. An inexperienced driver could no t negotiate those curves so we never got to the pool during our 3days. In the description it says there Luxury passs to attraction. Again it was midday Tuesday before I received instructions and by then we had purchased and planned our days. But the muse disappointment was the extremely steep driveway. The pictures show a slope but it is extreme. We could not park our cars on it and 2 of us were older so navigating up and down the driveway was a challenge.
It could also use a good cleaning. The log walls would be prettier if there wasn’t dust on them.

Nice location, not a true 3 bedroom
This cabin is in a nice location just outside of Gatlinburg. The listing says 3 bedrooms, but there are actually only two with the master being a loft that is open to the living and kitchen below. Which means there is no privacy or seclusion and you'll hear every noise below.
The cabin is certainly pretty but you need to know the following:
1. The Driveway is extremely steep. I was not comfortable driving up it. If your parking brake failed, you are in serious trouble.
2. There are absolutely zero hangers in this cabin. Not sure how you rent a cabin and provide no hangars for folks to hang their clothes.
3. There is no hair dryer - again, pretty standard for a rental.
4. The clothes iron is from 1970 - no kidding.
5. The shower heads are awful. The one on the main floor dribbles out and the one in the master isn't much better.
6. The unit needs to be sprayed for bugs. I was sitting in a char and a bug crawled across me. Saw another few bugs as well.
7. The internet password is wrong on the check-in sheet and was missing a complete character. I cannot be the first one to experience this and nobody has bothered to fix it. I was forced to call someone and wait 25 minutes for someone to call me back and give me the correct password. I had work to do and was unable to do so until I received a call back.
8. You are forced to drive to a location 25 minutes away to "check in" despite the door having an access code. Nearly every VRBO I've ever stayed in just sent you the code. One bonus of the check-in, they had great cookies :-)
9. The wood door in the lowest level, has cracks in the middle that you can actually see light from outside through. I'm sure in the winter time, the lowest level is quite chilly.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay but with a little TLC or amenities like hangars and a hair dryer would make it more enjoyable.
This was our family's first experience in a cabin in the Smokies and we absolutely loved it! Very comfortable, plenty of room, beautiful view........ If I had to give any negative at all, it would be that the kitchen is small. However, that was evident from the photos so it wasn't a surprise. Would definitely stay here again!
We truly couldn’t have had a better spot for us and our 3 soccer players playing at Rocky Top Sports Complex! Also plenty of space for us and our kiddos!!!
