The cabin was the perfect size for our extended family vacation! The parking was a little tough which was expected due to the location of the cabin. Very close to downtown (5 min drive if that). The hot tub cover had to be replaced on day 2 of our vacation due to prior issues but they never turned up the temperature after replacing it so that wasn’t ideal not being able to use it.
I booked this house for my family's Christmas present, and we had the best time ever! The house is perfectly located with such amazing views! It became an event to see if we could see the house from the different locations around town. Plenty of space for all of us. And we looked forward to coming home and playing games together and enjoying the space. Will book again!
We had two families stay in this property. 6 kids and 4 adults. Downstairs was filled with games and activities for the kids to keep them busy. View is gorgeous - especially at night. We were able to watch the Anakeesta light show from the hot tub and hear Jason Andean’s music (inside you couldn’t hear the music).
Quick easy drive to the main strip. Quick and easy drive to the Smokey mountain state
Park. Can’t beat this location.
Amazing place; would stay again, but needs some TLC
Me and my friends loved staying here! The cabin was in a great spot not far from Gatlinburg. Everything was very clean. We are already looking at dates to come back next year. The game room was a really nice touch with a lot to do. A couple of small things to bring up: no poker chips to play on the poker table with which is not a big deal but would’ve been nice to have the chips to play with. One last thing, old one roll of toilet paper per room. Ended up going into town and buying some. Again, not a big deal but would’ve been nice to have more than one roll per room. Overall this cabin was awesome and we enjoyed every second in it!
Cabin was in a great location just about Gatlinburg. View was wonderful. Cabin itself was large and roomy, no major issues while we stayed . As in other reviews the road is very narrow., can be managed due to low amount of houses on the road .
We had a nice time in the area. The main issues we ran across were directions were only from the direction of town and were not clear for someone who doesn’t know the area (visual markers would have been helpful as street signs were turned or missing). The directions should also be from the other direction. Second issue was the quality…many lightbulbs out on the rope lights on the upper deck, railing on upper deck was not real secure on the right side, hard to get into the hot tub (the box was very high to step up), random garbage was found under the beds, and one roll of toilet paper per bathroom was silly (hotels even give an extra). Third issue was for a place that sleeps 12, the parking would be terrible for more than 1 car. Great views, saw wildlife (a bear), quiet at night, good space, great games. We were not unhappy, just wanted to alert you to some of the potential issues.
This cabin was perfect for our family. Major plus that all rooms had king beds! Loved being in the mountains but also right close to the heart of downtown Gatlinburg! The only thing we wished is that the hot tub was bigger. Hot tub only fits 4 (snug) and the cabin sleeps 12. Otherwise, 5 stars!
This cabin was great in every way! Location, space for 12 people, kitchen, hot tub, ping pong, dining table for family games... so thankful we chose this cabin! Highly recommend this cabin!
Our group had 9 people, 4 were 25-35 age range and the other 4 have recently turned 18. There was plenty of space throughout the house for all of us to be comfortable. We did bring 2 single air mattresses so everyone would have their own bed and it worked great. The pool table and hot tub were a big hit with our group. The road to the cabin is steep, curvy and a little narrow but it's the mountains so it's expected, not an issue for us as seen in other reviews.
Pros: Great views, plenty of space, very convenient, quiet, comfortable beds, nice amount of deck seating, fully stocked kitchen (coffee cups, toaster, can opener, blender), easy check in
Cons: Shower curtains had mold/mildew at the bottoms, many of the kitchen utensils were dirty (scissors, knives, pans), if the A/C unit freezes it states you'll be charged for it (I don't think that's right), one of the balcony doors in a bedroom on the bottom level wouldn't open
Unfortunately due to construction near by we couldn't use the gas grill or fire pit but we understand that's out of their control. If you leave your cabin early morning or early evening you can get easy parking right behind the Aquarium before the deck gets full. All in all we enjoyed our vacation and our stay at this cabin. I would stay here again on our future visits.
It was a great convenient location however it is almost a one way road to get there which can be quite scary especially at night due to the curves! It would of been nice to have light bulbs in the light stings on the deck.
Kitchen needed more supplies such as coffee cups and wine glasses. There were critters in the roof on the eaves. The deck was great place to gather in the morning for coffee and at night for wine.
