The hot tub is professionally cleaning after every guest.
In extreme cold the Hot tub will cool -5 degrees per hour when uncovered so please keep covered

Items of note on Mountain living:
-There is an infinite number of living creatures in the mountains, big and small. It is not uncommon to see a few uninvited guests such as bugs, leaves, pollen, and an occasional spider or mouse (less common). We treat regularly for pests but being in the mountains nature tends to find a way sometimes.
-leaves and pollen may settle on the deck
Mountain driving and Winter weather:
Roads in our area is paved and plowed but Winter weather can still affect driving
4WD or chains is recommended in snowy conditions
Trip insurance can protect against weather related cancelations and road closures
*STEEP DRIVEWAY ALERT
-Most vehicles can handle it just fine.
-If snow of frost is expected you can always park on the flat road side space at the base of the driveway and walk up
Be Bear Aware
-Please do not feed or leave food out for the bears
- Do not leave food or trash outside.
-View from a safe distance ( stay at least 50 yards distance)
-Take ALL food items out of your car, black bears can smell food as far as 1-5 miles away even in your car
-Keep your car doors locked at all times
-Lock the cabin doors after coming in or out.
-keep pets on a leash when outdoors
- When taking trash out please put in the caged bear proof trash bin and the base of the driveway.

Rental Agreement:
After booking, guests will be required to complete a short rental agreement for insurance, safety, and local compliance purposes. This includes providing the primary guest’s full legal name, contact information, permanent mailing address, and government-issued ID.

What makes this Mountain home special:
Memories are made here. The Trailhead Lodge is set up well for quality time with family and friends. Wide open spaces to breath in fresh mountain air and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature you will go home feeling rejuvenated. Peace and tranquility among the trees and the stars. The outdoor spaces, Hot Tub and Game room along with the easy access to the hiking trail (This is rare) Pools, tennis and Pickleball courts you have enough to stay active and busy. Add in close proximity to dining, shops and fun parks you will go away with the best souvenirs of all, Memories!!
A car is needed to access the Trailhead Lodge location up in the mountain. There are a handful of taxi and private shuttle services in the area. If you would like to avoid busy downtown Gatlinburg traffic the Gatlinburg trolly runs 365 days a year and s free. Parking is available at the Gatlinburg visitors center where you can hop on the trolly which makes round trips and has several stops along the Downtown strip.

Trailhead Lodge is Non smoking
Pets are allowed ( please disclose at time of booking)
The Roads in the mountains are winding and steep. This is normal for mountain roads.
The driveway at Trailhead lodge is steep
Flat parking at available street side then a walk up the driveway
Most front wheel drive cars do fine but in wintery conditions it may requite 4WD and/or chains
Travel insurance is highly recommended
Due to Mountain weather varying conditions we are unable to provide refunds due to weather related events.
