Clean and secluded stay with abundant wildlife, newer property with comfy linens, fast internet. Chose this property for the hot tub in the forest, which was clean and hot. It’s a half hour away from nearest grocery store or restaurant so keep that in mind when it comes to eating. There is a store at bottom of the hill, ok for basic necessities. You’re very close to redwood trails (Jed Smith Nat’l Park). Local baker left delicious muffins for us with her info on mobile service if you’d like sweets delivered to your door. Fast, reliable internet – I WFH with internet faster than home. Working remotely was tough with no comfortable seating. Dining table is an outdoor set with no cushions Cons: Extremely high fees, disappointed we couldn’t use fireplace, no hammock as pictured, no cohesive décor made space feel a little sterile, proximity to food, uncomfortable dining seats. Nice creek out front, loved hearing frogs croak at night.

Our family had a wonderful stay here. The house had all the comforts of home and is truly located in an ideal beautiful location. Beautiful wooded cabin

The property was gorgeous, secluded and clean. It was easy to get to, and since the place was so clean you were able to relax immediately. The yard and hot tub were well maintained and it was so relaxing being able to sit on the porch and listen to the birds. It is so close to Jedidiah state park where we loved hiking. Would absolutely stay again!

Excellent Stay!

This home was perfect for a multi-night stay exploring the Northern Redwoods. The location is impeccable if you're looking for tranquility and easy access to the Smith River. The stream out front is so peaceful to listen to in the mornings while sitting on the porch having a cup of coffee. The hosts were very responsive and kind. This was the perfect place to unplug. We would absolutely stay again!

Delightful getaway

We had a wonderful 3 night stay exploring the Redwoods and Oregon coast. The cabin was clean, well stocked and had everything needed for a getaway out in nature. A highlight was sitting on the front porch and listening to the birds chirping away and viewing the little creek in the back. So delightful! We hope to be back in the area sometime in the future and would not hesitate to book again.

Perfect getaway!

Loved our stay at this property! It is clean and well stocked. Location to our desired choice near the Redwoods was great. The hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking; sitting on the porch with morning coffee was equally delightful. Property owner very responsive and pre arrival info is thorough. The place was cute, clean, and just what we needed! It's on a little street surrounded by other houses, so I wasn't expecting that, but we couldn't see them once we got down the driveway, so it's still secluded a bit. The place was very clean, except for the dryer. We went to dry our clothes after washing them, and realized that there was a bunch of leftover sand, I guess from the last people that stayed there. So, I had to spend about a half hour cleaning it before I was able to use it. Other than that, everything was perfect! It took us about 30 minutes to get to town (groceries, restaurants) from here and about an hour to get to Redwoods, but it was a very scenic beautiful drive the majority of the way, so it wasn't bad at all! Overall, it was a great place to stay and I would definitely stay again next time we visit!

This is an absolutely magical place in the trees!! The house is entirely surrounded by the forest and offers supreme privacy and the opportunity to observe wildlife. The night sky was spectacular and we saw the Milky Way two nights. The house itself is very clean, modern, and has all the amenities. If you want a private retreat in the redwoods, this is the property for you!
