"Mataura Lodge is such a great place to stay as it’s out of the hustle of Queenstown but only a short 40 minute drive away! This quirky and beautifully decorated place was comfortable and a great place to stay if you had a family or couples. Our only downfall was that the lodge needs a big ‘spring clean’ to make it a more pleasurable stay. The windows were very dirty inside and out and lots of cobwebs everywhere."
