We had a wonderful time the cabin was secluded and had a very warm welcoming atmosphere. I would highly recommend it to other friends and family and will stay again !!!!
I went with a small group of friends and my dog and we had a great time. The location is beautiful and very quiet. It has anything you could possibly want, we didn’t even care that there was no WiFi. We all had good cell coverage and data too.
The trip was scheduled to break up the drive from Omaha to south east Texas. Lake Views inside and out were just marvelous and can be used on any day.
Exceeded requirements.
Great property. Perfectly isolated with out being remote. You can run into town pretty easily if you need to. The fire pit in the deck is terrific but it is exposed so if it’s cool and windy you will feel it.
The property is pretty and I would certainly book here again. Kids loved it
Check in on Friday and settled in. Enjoyed the deck that evening. Guided fishing trip Saturday with great success. Eureka Springs on Sunday was a workout. Toured Beaver Dam area that evening and took some great pictures of the grandsons with the setting sun over the lake. Check out was a breaze. We will be back for sure.
We had a GREAT week at Beaver Lake and Fords Creek Cabin had much to do with it. This place was exactly what we were looking for, to escape from the hustle bustle of the city life and relax by the lake. The view of the lake was amazing! The cabin itself was very nice with a nice kitchen that we cooked in every night. Bathroom was good with a standup shower. Bed was very comfortable. Built a couple of fires in the fire pit and roasted hot dogs. Made a couple of trips down to the water which was a fun afternoon of swimming and some fishing. Our check in process was easy. We would love to make it back to Fords Creek again next year! Thanks!!!!
We absolutely loved our stay! The scenery is beautiful, the setting is private and peaceful. Beds comfortable, kitchen setup was great, deck, fire pit and living area is amazing. The only complaint we had was the lake access. They did warn us about the steep trail down to the shore and needing 4wd which I did rent a truck for and was SO glad I did, however the lake shore itself is also veryyy steep and rocky. There is a dock down there that you can’t use. This was difficult with three kids and coolers and kayaks and paddeboard etc. and you can’t really get comfortable outside of the water to take a break and it’s quite an ordeal to get back up to the cabin with all your stuff. That being said we absolutely made the most of it and still had an incredible time making memories over the weekend! We did not want to leave! We would still love to come back for another visit someday :)
Second time here. It is becoming our go to place for NWA.

Perfect Secluded Get Away!
We loved our stay at Ford's Creek Cabin. Every part of this home is just what we were looking for. No close neighbors and off the beaten path. We would definitley book this home again. The only thing that was not as advertised was the lake access. Fallen trees from storms had completely blocked the lakefront access.
I was traveling for work with my family, so my check in time always varies. The property manager went out of the way to make sure we had access to the cabin despite the late hour of check in (around 11 pm). Cabin was exactly per description and pictures. Nice little cabin with a lake view and access.
What a lovely tucked away cottage we found. The cabin is secluded and perfect. The decor is simple, but comfortable. The back porch lake lookout is perfectly peaceful. The downstairs bedroom was comfortable with a nice mattress. We took several walks and encountered wild turkeys and deer. We even spotted a Luna Moth. The stars at night were magical. There is not access to live TV or movie Apps. We did find a couple of movies and brought some of our own. He did grill. Bring your own condiments, but cook ware is more than adequate. This was a perfect get away for us as we celebrate the life of a son we lost 7 years ago.
Beautiful setting with no one on top of you.
There was an issue with the water pump at one point, but the management fixed it immediately. Thank You! No wifi, T-Mobile reception was spotty but Verizon was strong. Great selection of dvds if you want to watch a movie. No washer dryer. The gravel road to the cabin was a little intimidating at first in a low slung car, but proved to be no problem. I'm just nit picking at this point.
This was an overall excellent stay!
We opted to spend our Thanksgiving holiday away from the city and it was worth it! The house is in a secluded area, no neighbors, just you and nature. You could enjoy a hike in the forest or a short walk to the lake. We had a lovely time.
Away enough that it was so quiet but still had neighbors if needed. Things you think of being older…. Very clean. The bed was amazing!!!! The back deck was my favorite. Coffee, quiet, deer and birds, and beautiful view of the lake. Check in was easy and renter was just a text away and very nice!
We had a fantastic stay here. Beautiful property, great private dock/slip and loved that our dog could accompany us. No wifi or laundry could be areas of improvement for the future but it didn't bother us too much. We had a good experience being offline and connecting with each other! So well appointed and well stocked, all the details were thoughtful (poker set, movies, tons of kitchen ware, towels, etc) and made our stay special!!! We will absolutely be back. We felt very sad to leave what had come to feel like home.
