"We absolutely loved the location of the Lighthouse Inn. Situated right on the Atlantic ocean and we were lucky enough to see a great northern lights show. Breakfast was outstanding and it is situated close enough to both the airport and the blue lagoon."

"I was only here for an overnight layover, but I was very impressed with the room and property. I arrived into Iceland way too early to check in to the room so I decided to take a taxi from the airport and wait around until I was able to use the emailed code that the hotel sent me to access my room. While I was waiting, the cleaner asked if there was anything she could do for me and when I said I was just waiting to access my room, she immediately got the assigned room ready and let me enter early. I was extremely tired from an international flight and her kindness was extremely appreciated. Just because of the shared bathroom situation, I don't know if this is a place that I would stay in for more than just a couple of days, but for my long overnight layover, it was perfect. They were also able to call me a taxi in the morning which was very helpful. Overall, a good place for a long layover"

"My flight into Iceland was delayed by quite a long time so my time at Hotel Duus was cut a lot shorter than I was hoping for. What I was able to glean about the hotel though, was that the place is very close to Keflavik airport, is very easy to find and is very clean. Unfortunately, I was only here for the evening but everything was clean, the gentlemen at the front desk were very helpful in checking in at a very late hour and getting a taxi back to the airport at a pretty early time. If I were to come back to Keflavik and need to stay the evening at somewhere close to the airport and easy to find, I would definitely come back."

"Before my trip to Iceland, I researched accommodations in Reykjavík and found many downtown hotels to be overpriced, with some lacking parking options. Since I planned to rent a car and explore the country over my three-day stay, I wanted something more convenient. By chance, I came across Fisherman’s Village, and from the photos, I knew it was exactly where I wanted to stay. The view from my room was stunningly beautiful and peaceful, offering a perfect place to unwind. The property is great for walking around, allowing you to fully appreciate the scenery and weather. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making my stay even more enjoyable. I loved my two nights at Fisherman’s Village and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Iceland. I will definitely stay there again if I return."
