"Nancy and Richard were wonderful hosts. We were served a home-cooked breakfast every morning with fresh fruit, eggs and vegetables from their own property. The fruit pies were delicious and a real treat! Nancy gave us a tour of the gardens. The entire place smells heavenly because they do not use chemicals. The most gracious of hosts, they were most accommodating and they made us feel right at home. The room was clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable. Loved our stay. "

"5 Stars!!! My husband and I have stayed at numerous B&B's (some outside the U.S.), the Brownstone Colonial Inn tops them all. Brenda and Mark are the "Perfect" hosts. The accommodations are clean, very comfortable, and love the colonial Inn's "period" style furnishings. "We truly enjoyed our time with Randy and Wilma. They were not only helpful and kiind but over our time there we became friends. Wilma provides fresh eggs, fresh homemade bread and fresh milk from their farm. The accomodations are great and there is plenty of room to relax inside and out. We enjoyed watching the cows graze as we had our morning coffee on the front porch. We would highly reccomend staying with them. A great and blessed experience."

We booked our stay initially for the Lantern Festival but also visited the Kitchen Kettle Village as suggested by our hosts David and Ester who are both very kind. We were going to visit their farm and buggy ride the following day but we were all tuckered out from exploring and the festival. (It gives us a reason to return!) Instead, we grabbed a bite at the Speckled Hen (which is also kid / family friendly) has cool playground and headed back...
