Sommar på Hotell Gamleby

Trevligt litet hotell mitt i byn. Rymlig trädgård. Stora rymliga rum med fräsch toalett. Något liten frukost. Lite synd att det inte fanns någon reception men de svarade snabbt när man ringde.

Ett väldigt enkelt hotell.

Inte särskilt mysigt, men du får din säng och din frukost. Sängarna är sköna, frukosten enkel. Boendet är absolut inte prisvärt, men det är det enda hotellet i Gamleby, så det är inte så mycket att välja på :-)

Besök i byn där jag växte upp i syfte att fira jul med föräldrarna i deras boende. Vi är mycket nöjda med allt på hotellet, boende, frukost och service. Stort tack till Tony som var fantastisk gällande frukost och annan service.

Ett litet hotell, vi var enda gästerna. Ändå så hade dom en fantastiskt fräsch och rik frukost

The hotel itself only has 13 rooms, I think. The breakfast is pretty good, the staff are friendly and helpful. The front desk is only staffed a couple of hours during the day, so make sure you get the code to enter the hotel. I had just missed the summer 'peak', so there were only 2 restaurants open within easy walking distance. I only went to the Montecristo Restaurant. The food was good and the staff very friendly. My Visa card wouldn't work when I went to pay, so we worked it out in US dollars. Public transportation is limited and confusing, especially if you don't speak Swedish. But the Troll Hike was a LOT of fun. And I enjoyed the peace and quiet for a couple of days.

Hotell med närhet till både naturen och affärer.

Lugnt och gemytligt litet nyrenoverat hotell centralt i mysiga Gamleby. Nära till restauranger, affärer och vattnet. Sköna sängar och fräscht badrum. Lagom frukostutbud med hållbarhetstanke. Vattenkokare på rummet.

Fint och tevligt hotell

Mycket rent, fräscht, trevligt och fint litet hotell. Tyst och lugnt. Det enda som blev lite problematiskt var kortet till dörren som inte fungerade.. tog cirka15 min innan vi slutligen fick ett klick och dörren gick upp. Det är mindre bra när kort inte fungerar då hotellet är obemannat.

Sorgligt hotell utan personal

Sorgligt att ingen personal fanns på plats utom vid frukosten, då var det trevlig personal i alla fall. Frukost bara tom 09:00, det är ju semestertider... Lyckades inte få min mobildata att fungera alls utan var beroende av ett klent wifi. Brukar aldrig hända nuförtiden.

När det gällande frukost talande de om att de ville minska marsvinnet och lade därför upp pålägget på små fat men det fanns inte mycket när vi kom.

Vi är mycket nöjda. Stort trevligt familjerum med sköna sängar. Härligt badkar. Allt som vi behövde fanns. Trevlig personal på frukosten som gjorde det där lilla extra för barnen. Vi kan varmt rekommendera Gamleby hotell.

Bra men inte perfekt

Bra skick, rent, bekväma sängar, jättefint badrum. Obemannad reception. Begränsad urval vid frukosten, med flera laktosfria alternativ. Många prydnadsföremål som gör vistelsen med barn under 3 år något problematisk. Fin omgivning. Om fönstren vetter mot gatan kan det bli bullrigt på natten. I vårt rum lät också ventilationen lite för högt. Hotellet delar dock ut öronproppar.

Mysigt hotell med stort och modernt familjerum.

Blev glatt överraskad över Gamleby Hotell. Vi bokade ett familjerum. Ett väldigt stort rum med fyra sängar och ändå fortfarande gott om plats. Rejält badrum med både dusch och badkar. Trevligt bemötande vid incheckningen och vid frukosten dagens efter. Kan starkt rekommendera Gamleby hotell. Kommer definitivt bo där igen nästa gång vi besöker Gamleby
