The Villetta is located in Borgo La Fungaia in the woods and countryside very close to the Medieval City of San Gimignano, far from the SP 62 provincial road. After Il Castagno, coming from Gambassi Terme, you pass the crossroads on the left which leads to San Gimignano, continuing for 1 km immediately on the right you enter the country road in the woods, and after about 150 meters you are at the Borgo
The Villa is located on the highest part of the Borgo, you can reach the stone staircase that goes up to the house by car and after unloading your luggage you park for free in the large reserved space near the Villa.
The house is independent the front garden, fully equipped with deck chairs and tables, has a view of the swimming pool and a beautiful panorama of nature. In front of the main entrance of the house there is the garden, you then enter the living room and at the bottom of the kitchen, before climbing a few steps you see the bathroom and dressing room, once you go up, you enter the bedroom and from this to the back garden. continuing a few more stairs, second bedroom, characteristic with terrace. The Villa is surrounded by greenery and well-equipped flowers and with a grill for roasts and Florentine steak. All around wood and countryside cultivated with wheat, olive trees and vineyards. You will sleep peacefully in the reserve of wild animals, pheasants, hares, roe deer and an infinite variety of birds.
The Villa is cool in summer at a height of almost 600m, the swimming pool at 30m will be quiet without disturbing noises.
In the woods are centenary trees, oaks, pines, holm oaks, firs and flowering plants, gorse, hawthorn and others, to breathe clean air to regenerate the body from the stress of the city. The name Fungaia derives from the production of mushrooms which in the distant past were grown and collected in the surrounding dried woods and then sold to fruit and vegetable traders in Tuscany.
