Beautiful three bedroom, two bath, home in Bermuda Beach. A family friendly West End community, just minutes from the end of the Seawall. Second row with an unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico. Glorious sunrises, fishing, swimming, surfing, sailing, kayaking, sunbathing, sand castle building, shell and sharks tooth hunting all await you just outside the door. Small pet friendly. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Flat screen TVs. Wireless internet. Sleeps 8 to 10. One king size bed, one queen bed and a bunk room for the kiddos. Queen sleeper sofa with firm mattress in the living room for your guests. A Pac and Play as well as a portable highchair for the babies. Charcoal grill and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows in the yard below. Two outside showers to rinse off the sand. One down stairs and one on the deck. The home was very nice and clean. We loved the great view of the ocean. It had everything we needed for our vacation stay. Well stocked Kitchen. We had our two grandkids age 3 and 10 months. The entry door had a safe lock that toddlers cannot unlock . There was plenty of parking for several cars and very close to the beach. It was a great location and I would definitely recommend the home for a family with children!

Great Place!

Great place to stay. Beautiful view from the patio and super close walk to the beach. The mattress in the master bedroom is really comfy. We ended up spending most our time on the patio because the view was so beautiful.

Beautiful Beach House

Beautiful home, so well decorated and well supplied! I was sad to see the seaweed on the beach, but that is beyond owners’s control and will recede. We got to see a large sea turtle in the surf - such a thrill!

Perfect spot!

We enjoyed our stay at the Havana house. It is a very comfortable house with a great deck! EVERYTHING you need the owner has stocked. Very short and convenient walk to the beach. Lisa was extremely prompt on answering any questions we had on checking in and out. We will definitely be back!

Pleasant Stay at Havana House

We spent a week at Havana House and very much enjoyed our stay. The view of the ocean was very nice and we were able to walk on the beach each morning. The house was very comfortable and as advertised. The host was very responsive. We hope to enjoy the house again soon.

Review of Havana House.

Save for the weather (it rained almost every day), the stay was enjoyed by all. When weather did cooperate, the grandkids loved easy access to the beach. House was clean and comfortable, and no problems were encountered (other than the rain). Would definitely stay here again.

Great spot right next to beach

Very convenient access to beach, and balcony had a nice unobstructed view of the beach and ocean. Kitchen, laundry, etc. was very well stocked with anything you could think of; plenty of soap, detergent, towels, linens. A/C worked well. Nice location on a quieter part of the island.

A sweet oasis

The place is clean and has all you need to relax at the beach, even down to hats to protect you from the sun. It is accesible to everything, just a few minutes away from the Seawall, fishing pier, Pleasure Pier, and all the other attractions Galveston has to offer while also serving as A quiet place to relax, just a few steps away from the water.

Great location!

Location of the house is phenomenal. Beautiful views from the living area and steps to the beach. Listing said there were beach chairs available for use, but they were more of a folding camping chair. If I had known that, I would have brought my own beach chairs. Still worked fine, but not what I was expecting. Overall, great experience. Would definitely book again.

Galveston vacation

Great location and access to the beach! The only issues were having keys instead of code lock and having to keep track of the keys as well as the jets in tub not working. Lots of beach accessories and kitchen well stocked. Quick responses when contacting the owner.

Always a great stay at the Havana House

This is our go to rental! Booked 4 times for the Lone Star Rally! We love it here! The distance to Seawall Blvd and the Strand is perfect; great for bikers and vehicles. There is plenty of parking and the view of the beach is stunning! The deck is awesome! Home was very clean which we loved! Contact with Lisa was great! Everything about this rental is wonderful! We will definitely continue with this rental! wonderful!

Family Vacation in Galveston

Our second year at this property. It’s a wonderful place, especially for the price. The quality of the house is top notch and the location to the beach is one row away. The deck and view of the ocean are over the top. The owner was communicative and instructions clear. You should be so lucky for all renter’s being this good. Bang for the buck is there.

Could have been cleaner

House was not cleaned well. White dog hair under the dinning table and human hair in drain of both shower and tub. One slat missing on the upper deck railing. Opening was large enough for a child to fall through. Other than that, the house was very functional and steps from the beach. We really enjoyed our week there.

Relaxing steps from the beach

Second stay for us and as great as the first one. Hits all the important notes for us: per friendly, steps from the beach, huge deck with great views, super clean, kitchen is well appointed, lots of hot water, multiple showers downstairs to rinse off after beach, extra pillows in closets, great instructions for entering property, wifi, etc., lots of towels and great washer dryer. And the owner Lisa is very responsive, she helped us out with an issue immediately when we contacted her. Highly recommend.

Steps to beach

This was the perfect beach house for our family. Lisa was a great host to communicate with and worked through all of the minor kinks after hurricane Beryl tore through Galveston. Everything was clean and easy to use. It was steps to take all of our beach gear to set up on the beach for the day. There are mosquitos everywhere so we did use bug spray often. We highly recommend this place!

October Getaway

Enjoyed the view from the porch which was very relaxing. Big, well stocked kitchen, especially the spices. Had Tony Chacheres which we forgot to bring. TV remote in the living room was difficult to use. Bed was comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet except for one night which other renters played loud music until 3 in the morning but other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Great time

With our family of four, we had a great time at this house. The view is great from the deck. The house is very well appointed, comfortable beds and furniture, and just about everything we needed. Only downside to our stay was the house that is just to the right of the ocean view was doing remodeling work. So between 8-4 every day during the week we had to listen to saws and hammers.. but can’t really fault the owner, just wish we would have known. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Beautiful view of the Water, but we had some issues.

The property is one street from the beach, it allows for dogs and has a very nice view of the water. We did experience a break-in of our vehicle while staying and the property was not clean in one of the showers. The owner did provide a $100 refund as a result of this issue.

Exactly what we needed

I brought 2 kids under 2 and found the property very suited for kids. The furniture is sturdy and there weren't too many decorative elements that needed to be moved to higher surfaces to accommodate crawlers. We had my younger child sleep in a play pen in the living room and my toddler sleep in a bunk. There was a highchair and plastic dishware was available. We did have to move the cleaning supplies from beneath the sink, just for parental peace of mind but we just moved it to the counter and moved it back before we left. My only issue was that the bunk room didn't have a blackout option so my toddler would not nap, but I should have brought my travel blackout window cover. I would rent this place again. 30 second walk to the sandy beach.
