This house has a six (6) person guest limit. This is not a "party house". If that's what you want, that's fine, but please look elsewhere, because loud and late parties will be shut down, and eviction may occur. Small, relatively quiet gatherings are welcome.

This quaint updated mid-century modern home features woodgrain vinyl planking installed 12/2021 over a cork underlayment providing a soft and quiet surface for your bare feet, updated kitchen and bath with granite counters. One of the best canal water views on Galveston's West End with lots of windows. One bedroom has a queen bed, the second has 4 single beds (including daybed with trundle).

NOTE:
Amenities Include: Central air/heat, TV's in all rooms living room and both bedrooms, Internet, DVD player (with selection of DVD movies), gas BBQ grill, 2 kayaks, plenty of outdoor furniture including dining table.
Microwave, coffee pot, pots and pans, dishes, toaster, linens and towels furnished. Public boat launch at Jamaica Beach marina.

Pets OK with upon approval and $100/pet non-refundable deposit. Non-aggressive breeds only.
No smoking except outside - NO BUTTS ON THE GROUND PLEASE!

Pool (located next to the City Park on Jolly Roger Rd/Bob Smith Rd) is open daily (except Tuesday's) from 10:00AM to 8:00 PM between mid-May thru mid-September (weather permitting).

You can usually check-in earlier than 4. Even if another guest is checking out the day of your arrival, the house is typically cleaned and ready by 2:30 (or earlier) after which you are welcome to check-in. Late check-out can be accommodated upon request if no guests are booked to check-in that day.

House on the canal.

Cute home for a small family. Property has a canal in the backyard which was great for fishing and some crabbing. Drive on beach was very close and not as crowded as the main beach area in Galveston. Host was very attentive no complaints.

The house is well kept and clean. The owner is very nice and easy to contact if needed. The neighbors were very nice as well. Great place to fish and relax. Close to beach access and a few restaurants/stores.

Upon arrival we loved the location of the property. It was easy to find and we had good directions on what to do once we arrived. We had a fully stocked kitchen and the house was decorated very cute. Beds were comfy and we had lots of linens in the bath. There was a very nice neighbor that gave us some tips on fishing. I loved the fact you could fish right outside the property. We had a wonderful time!

We were only a few minutes away from the ocean but we enjoyed catching crab in the canals as much as going to the beach. The house was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Little Getaway

Great owner and great property. We loved the quiet community within golf cart riding distance to the beach or fishing right outside your door on the canal. Well stocked kitchen and cozy layout fit our group of 6 perfectly. We definitely plan a return visit soon!

Directions were excellent. The home was ready and the listing matched perfectly. Homeowner had upgraded the TV sound system, which worked great. While windy and Rainey the fish still were biting at the home. Great time and recommend going to all.

Great location, close to the beach access and lots of cute local restaurants but also a short drive to Galveston. The house is as described and very well stocked with towels/kitchen supplies. Communication with owner was very prompt and professional. Would definitely recommend!

Property photos don't do this place justice

I'm hesitant to write an honest review because I want to keep this place a secret so it's available whenever we need it! The place is larger than the photos make it appear. Kitchen had just about everything we needed. There were plenty of towels, pillows, blankets and so on. Great view and perfect set up for us. You won't be disappointed. This place is worth every penny and Matthew is a great host!

We arrived with no issues, everything was as stated in the photos and description. The home was clean and had everything we needed from bedding/sheets/towels/toiletries etc... The house also had plenty of puzzles to do as a family and each room has a TV that could be used. Highly recommend this place - Matt was very responsive with any questions we had as well. The place is only 5 minutes from Galveston Island State Park / Beach. It was a very convenient location. The one recommendation with any homes near the lake - bring lots of mosquito spray. They are everywhere!

Perfect Vacation Getaway

The property was exactly as described. Matt gave us a very detailed guide and it had everything we needed to know and more. He was prompt in replying to any of our questions. The property is in a great location in Jamaica Beach. Definitely recommend to rent a golf cart, as there's no reason to drive a car here. Everything (including the beach) is a 5 minute golf cart ride away. The house was nice and clean, and the downstairs patio area is a perfect place to hang out by the canal. 10/10, would recommend.
