"The Hyatt Ziva was located between two large rock clusters creating a unique private large beach area and the fantastic views from our room on the balcony and the multiple swimming pools. The rooms we much larger than we expected. Always clean and friendly staff were appreciated. My family are already talking about our next vacation in this same resort. They offered a morning exercise class in the pools and there were evening events. watching the sunsets, never got old. I understand there are different seasons there, so plan your vacation accordingly. Bring lots of one US as you will want to tip their friendly staff. Honestly my only regret was that my vacation came to a end..."

"Beautiful, spacious room looking out to Banderas Bay. Well maintained and well serviced. Great amenities - access to the beach, lots of restaurants/bars, gym, lots of pools to chose from. The food was great and the service was in the majority of cases, flawless and friendly. Only one slight issue with one restaurant waiter who took issue with us not tipping above the already included service charges and gratuities. This was pre-confirmed to us as being included in the All Inclusive package, which was part of the reason for selecting this package. Otherwise, great service. Staff across the board were friendly and helpful and generally couldn't do enough for their guests. The only slight issue other than the waiter previously mentioned, was that via booking the All-Inclusive package upfront, we were then subjected to a sales pitch straight after check-in for the hotel group's private residences. This was poorly timed at arrival (anyone arriving post long flight would not appreciate this I suspect) and when we expressed a lack of interest in purchasing the product, the conversation ended abruptly. This didn't spoil the experience as a whole however (everything else more than makes up for this), but is being added to this review for awareness. Great place to get away from it all - we would definitely recommend."

"Hotel Tropicana is a fantastic hotel. The staff and crew were so kind and efficient even with the slight change to our reservation that we requested. The food was delicious, and the views were spectacular. This hotel has a private beach with the softest sand. It also accommodates chairs and umbrellas for guests. The pool was excellent. The rooms are cleaned daily, and fresh towels are always provided. The hotel is seconds/minutes from all sorts of vendors and restaurants including pharmacies and convenience stores. The malecon is also a short walk from the hotel. We plan to return soon and won't stay anywhere else. We are so glad we chose this hotel for our stay."
