"The day before ous stay we were informed that they had no room for us the first day. The alternative they offered was not an option in any way. The staff at the hotel was most friendly, but how this was managed is not nice on a planned vacation. "Friendly and helpful staff, including about often complicated issues in Italy such as parking (it’s simplest to pay a daily fee to park in the hotel’s underground lot). Breakfast was decent and filling. The location works well for those willing to walk a bit — I’d say it’s better to stay outside the historic center than inside it, and this hotel is only a 10-minute walk outside. Overall a comfortable and pleasant experience."

"A very impressive hotel in the old town of Lecce. Very helpful staff. We had a lovely room on two floors, which meant a trip downstairs during the night to use the loo. Maybe something to bear in mind. Also the air conditioning could not really cope with the size of the room, but maybe blame the recurrent heatwaves for that. We had a ‘cave’ like pool as well; sadly the jacuzzi side of it did not work. We were only there one night so did not feel it worth bringing up with the staff."
