"Owner was friendly and helpful but the hotel or B&B grossly overpriced! The neighborhood was away from the tourist area and the outside of the hotel was unappealing. The 10 minute walk to Darwin Street was in a poor section, an old mattress lying about. Breakfast was good. The reception area was poor. I have photos. Worth about $40 a night not the $110 l prepaid and could not cancel reservation "

"After we finally got checked in, turned the AC on and it was not cold. Owner told me it would cool down and to let her know if I didn't need it "cold like hers (friend's room) I would be fine but I could switch it in the morning.
