Nice place in Western Madrid Area

Nice and comfortable place, 30 min away from the centre of Madrid, with nearby restaurants and grocery stores at walking distance. We will sure try to use it again if we come back

Torrelodones Gem

The house was as described. We travelled into Madrid on a daily basis and did not return till mid evening. The only thing I would mention is that the tv is extremely small and sofas are not comfortable at all for lounging and watching tv. Other than that, the house was great. Very clean and beds were comfortable and kitchen well equipped.

Super apartment

Our stay in this apartment was simply fantastic! The apartment was spotlessly clean and perfectly furnished. Nothing was missing. The facilities left nothing to be desired and we immediately felt at home. The host was extremely friendly and helpful and communication went smoothly. The location of the apartment was ideal, close to Madrid attractions (very easy to reach by train), such as Segovia or El Escorial. We can fully recommend this holiday apartment and are already looking forward to our next stay here! l

Amazing host and setting.

We cannot have enough words to thank our host Carlos. The house is outside of Madrid but in a great residential area with close availability of large grocery store, restaurant and very close to the highway that takes you to center Madrid in less than 30 minutes. The place has all the necessary amenities and a fully equipped kitchen, a pool and the rooms are very comfortable. Amazing safety with remote opening of garage gate. Carlos keeps the house and the pool pristine clean. He is next door and respond very rapidly to any inquiries. We enjoyed his great friendship and spent one evening chatting and drinking wine. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some quiet after a turbulent day in Madrid. PS: he has a great collection of Asterix the Gaul comics and I delighted myself reading them. Thank you infinitely for you kindness.

Wonderful location & excellent host

We had a fantastic time holiday at Torrelodones!! Carlos, the host was amazing & incredibly responsive before & during our stay. He provided us transportation & restaurant information & answered all our questions promptly. The house was well equipped with everything & even had Netflix (which we were very thankful for during the heatwave). The kitchen had all the basics & towels were provided. We were also able to do most of our washing so not too much dirty laundry came back home with us, which is a huge bonus. The heated pool was awesome & given that we had a heatwave we literally lived in the pool. The house & garden were beautiful and the location was about 10 minutes to the shops, pharmacy & bus stops restaurants. We went to Madrid & Torrelodones Pueblo on the bus & everything was very straightforward & fun. We didn’t have or need a car as the public transport was excellent. The house is located in a super quite residential area so we had to ensure that the kids were not too loud in the pool which when you have heat wave & 3 kids (ages 10, 10, & 15) can be difficult. My only reservation about the property is while the kids were not overly loud (I may of course be noise blind to my kids) they were very excited about been on holiday & playing pool games so it was abit stressful for me having to constantly police the noise level as Carlos had asked us to be quieter as not to disturb the neighbours.

Fantastic location and accomodation

The apartment (house) is located in a quiet suburb north of Madrid, we accessed by car but used the train to travel into Madrid... all very easy. The owner lives on the property and was very helpful. Highly recommended. Thanks Carlos for the opportunity to stay in your property, we really enjoyed the few days in Torrelodones.

Family Visit

Really wonderful, spacious house in a very peaceful location, set in beautiful grounds with pool. The house is comfortable and well equipped. Close to local amenities and a short drive to the pueblo. Carlos is a very friendly and accommodating host and looks after his guests well! Recommend.

Smart, secure and well equipped. Excellent location

Property is large, comfortable, well equipped and along with the pool and gardens, very well kept. We stayed lateJuly,early August and the mature trees in the garden offered some welcome shade from the sun. Location of the house was ideal for us, never having been to Madrid, as it offered easy access to the city by car, or rail (you can walk to the train station) as well as roads out to the country where there are many places to visit, walks to do, whatever your preference. Torrelodones is handy as you can walk to local shops/supermarkets for essentials and there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance too. I would highly recommend this property, which in my opinion offers very good value for money.

Schickes Ferienhaus bei Madrid - für eine ideale Mischung aus Städtetrip und Erhohlung

Wir waren eine Woche hier und haben jeden Tag genossen. Carlos war ein sehr sehr netter und freundlicher Gastgeber!!! Vieln Dank für Alles!Die Wohnung ist geräumig, sauber und hat alles was man braucht. Mit Pool, Garten, Terrasse und Grill ist alles da, was man für entspannte Abende nach einem Tag in Madrid braucht. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig, trotdem sind Restaurants, Supermarkt, eine empfehlenswerte französiche Bäckerei, eine kleine aber feine Eisdiele und der Bus nach Madrid nur 5 min Fußweg entfernt. Zum Zug läuft man nur 10 min. Busse und Züge verkehren sehr oft, so dass man fast keinen Fahrplan braucht.Ausflüge nach Madrid, Toledo, El Escorial,... sind von hier aus problemlos möglich.

Einfach traumhaft schön und trotzdem gut angebunden

Von a bis z ist alles perfekt! Alles ist sauber, sehr ruhig, man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Man kommt gut und schnell nach Madrid. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und werden bestimmt noch mal wieder kommen.

Geweldig verblijf

Wij hadden een super vakantie. De woning is ideaal gelegen: in een rustige buurt maar met restaurants en winkels op wandelafstand. Wij bezochten Madrid en Toledo, beiden op ong 45min rijden. Ik kan iedereen dit verblijf aanraden!
