"It is a lovely hotel, with amazing views of the Cathedral. The staff are extremely helpful but the rooms and corridors are very tired and need a redecoration. Glad the lift is now fixed. Food is also good."

"The air con wasn’t working on our first three nights but the last night (also the warmest night) it thankfully was fixed. It was much needed in the evening when the sun moves round. The room was a good size and equipped with everything - kettle, good selection of hot drinks, hairdryer , iron and board, fridge and mini toiletries. The cleaning was done to a good standard. Our room overlooked the park, we saw the Lar Gibbons, Tapirs, Maned Wolves and Bush dogs at all times during the day. It was very special and a wonderful sight to wake up to. Breakfast was delicious, a good choice at the buffet - fruit cereals, toast, crumpets, cooked breakfast and cold and hot drinks. The staff were excellent, they were always polite and helpful, very friendly and welcoming! "
