Fantastic property. Nice and new. Gym was very well equipped with free weights, treadmill/elliptical/recumbent bikes, etc. (Skip the breakfast, though, it is just a voucher for their Starbucks style cafe window and you can just pay for that directly if you want). I would definitely go back. The whole stay was extremely pleasant and my family enjoyed the amenities. Great location, with walking distance to restaurants and some shops.

Everyone and everything is beautiful. A lot of restaurants and bars within walking distance. You really don’t need to even leave the hotel with all the amenities they offer. The only negative would be that the shower was weird. It was beautiful but the door was designed not to close so there was whole negative space where you would think the door would close.

Whenever the room above us flushed their toilet, it sounded like thunder and would wake us up. It continued almost all night. Obviously there is no control over how often people use the restroom, but that is the only complaint. Other than that, it was very comfortable and quiet. Very clean and felt very nice

The hotel itself was really nice. However, I did not know that we were charged $10 a day to park in the hotel parking garage until we were checking out. They also do not serve a free breakfast in the morning which can be slightly annoying, especially when you have kids. They offer breakfast, but you have to order it beforehand and pay for it separately. I was visiting a family member in the hospital and the hotel itself was 3 min. away. The area around it was nice and close to a Dunkin and a few other places to eat. The hotel itself was clean, the beds and pillows comfy, and I liked how the doors to the outside of the hotel locked at a certain time so only people staying there could walk in in the middle of the night. Overall, 4/5 only because I was charged for parking without knowing I’d have to pay per day and breakfast.

This is our second stay at this hotel and will definitely be back. The entire hotel is super clean, beautifully decorated. Staff are super friendly. The rooms are spacious. Hotel is walking distance to downtown which makes this the best Gainesville hotel to enjoy the many shops, restaurants on the Square.
